Construction Management and Coordination. (a) The Concessionaire Representative and the Department Representative shall be reasonably available to each other and shall have the necessary authority, expertise and experience required to oversee and communicate with respect to the Work (b) The Department’s and the Concessionaire’s project manager and senior representatives and other pertinent representatives of the parties shall meet within seven days after the Closing Date to discuss issues affecting the administration of the Work and to implement the necessary procedures, including those relating to submittals and approvals, to facilitate the ability of the parties to perform their obligations under this Agreement. (c) The Concessionaire shall hold monthly progress meetings with the Department. During such meetings, progress during the prior month shall be reviewed and the Concessionaire shall collect information from any key subcontractors/sub-consultants responsible for work completed during the specified duration and work scheduled during the upcoming reporting duration. These meetings shall be attended by the Concessionaire Representative and other personnel as requested by the Department. Meetings will occur monthly beginning the month after the Closing Date. The Concessionaire shall be responsible for preparing, maintaining and distributing minutes of the meetings to all attendees for review. The meeting minutes shall be provided to the Department within two calendar days after the monthly progress meeting. (d) The Initial Baseline Schedule attached as Exhibit O shall be the basis for monitoring the Concessionaire’s performance of the Work until such time as a Baseline Schedule has been approved by the Department in accordance with subsection (e) below. The Baseline Schedule shall provide for a Guaranteed Substantial Completion Date in accordance with Section 7.01(e). (e) Within 60 days of the date the Work Commencement Approval is issued, the Concessionaire shall submit to the Department, for its review and approval, a CPM schedule that includes among other things: (i) the order in which the Concessionaire proposes to carry out of the Work (including each stage of the design, Rights of Way acquisition, Regulatory Approvals (including but not limited to permit acquisition), procurement, manufacture, delivery to Site, construction, inspection and testing); and (ii) the times when submissions to, and approvals or consents by, the Department are required (provided, however, that such times shall...

Construction Management and Coordination i. Owner and the City agree to work together in good faith to provide timely communications and other information concerning Project construction, such as potential disruptions to current mall tenants and neighboring property owners affected by the construction of the Project and to take such steps to mitigate potential construction impacts on such parties that can reasonably be expected to be effective, all as more particularly discussed in this Section 5(c); provided that nothing required herein shall alter or delay the timeline or the construction schedule for the Project. ii. The Parties acknowledge that the City has adopted certain standard operating procedures for the issuance of a Construction Encumbrance Permit in connection with construction projects that will impact municipal assets such as streets and sidewalks, and that the issuance of a Construction Encumbrance Permit allows for the temporary closure of public streets and sidewalks to facilitate construction. Owner acknowledges that this process includes the provision of a Traffic Management Plan and a Traffic Control Plan, which must be submitted to DPW for its review and for approval by the City Council prior to DPW’s issuance of a Construction Encumbrance Permit. iii. Owner shall cause its general contractor or construction manager to meet with appropriate DPW personnel prior to commencing construction of the Project to discuss Owner’s intended construction process, project phasing and means and methods of construction so that the Parties can work together to facilitate construction in a manner that will minimize disruption to the area surrounding the Property. iv. Prior to commencing structural demolition or construction of the Project, Owner shall perform a pre-construction physical survey of all buildings, sidewalks, curbs and streets that could be impacted by demolition or construction of the Project to determine their existing physical condition. v. Before demolition and construction commence, Owner, Owner’s general contractor and the City shall jointly hold at least two meetings with members of the business community in the vicinity of the Property for the purpose of describing construction phasing and timing, and listening to community concerns with regard to the impact of Project construction, in an effort to reasonably mitigate construct impacts on the surrounding business community. vi. Construction Management and Coordination. (a) The Initial Baseline Schedule attached as Exhibit B-2 shall be the basis for monitoring the Concessionaire’s performance of the Work until such time as a Baseline Schedule has been submitted to and approved by the Department in accordance with the Technical Requirements. The Baseline Schedule shall provide for a Guaranteed Substantial Completion Date consistent with Section 8.01(f). In the event that the Concessionaire fails to provide to the Department an approved Baseline Schedule pursuant to this Section, the Department shall be entitled to withhold any and all Construction Segment Approvals pursuant to Section 8.02(b). (b) As part of, and in conjunction with, the monthly meetings required under the Technical Requirements, the Concessionaire shall provide the Department with any proposed update of the Baseline Schedule in accordance with the Technical Requirements. (c) The Concessionaire shall, whenever required by the Department, provide in writing a general description of the arrangements and methods that the Concessionaire proposes to adopt for the execution of the Work. No significant alteration to the Baseline Schedule, or to such arrangements and methods, shall be made without informing the Department and any alterations made shall reflect the requirement for coordination of the Work with the actions and obligations of the Department and the work to be carried out by the Department’s separate contractors, if any. If any alteration affects any such actions, obligations or work, it shall not be made without the prior approval of the Department. (d) The parties further agree to abide by the terms and procedures set forth in the Technical Requirements pertaining to project management and coordination matters.
Construction Management and Coordination. The Consultant shall provide all the necessary project management, administration, and coordination with the Town, Caltrans, and other internal/external stakeholders to achieve the project’s objectives and successful project construction completion. The Consultant shall proactively provide direction to the Town regarding the project tasks necessary to deliver the federally and locally grant funded project consistent with Caltrans permitting requirements, federal reimbursement requirements, and funding agreement requirements. The Consultant shall be responsible for project management activities throughout the life of the contract. The Consultant will serve as the Town’s full time Construction Manager/Resident Engineer (CM/RE) and on-site representative and will be responsible for providing and managing a complete construction management team to complete tasks and activities as outlined in these Requested Scope of Services. Consultant shall provide a CM/RE who is dedicated to the project through project close out to serve as the Town's resident engineer and project team leader. The CM/RE shall be a licensed Professional Civil Engineer Registered in the State of California. Consultant shall also provide the services of a Professional Structural Engineer Registered in the State of California for assistance on the submittal reviews and inspections of retaining walls and bridge structures, and as otherwise needed. In general, CM/RE shall have the following duties:
Construction Management and Coordination. The Construction Management Fee is intended to compensate and reimburse Landlord (or Landlord’s property manager or affiliate) for all overhead, general conditions, fees and other costs and expenses arising from Landlord’s (or Landlord’s property manager or affiliate’s) involvement in the provision of the services relating to the design and construction of the Tenant Improvements, including, without limitation, the design and review of the Space Plan and the Construction Drawings, selection of the Contractor, review of the Construction Contract and coordination and management of the construction of the Tenant Improvements. Neither Landlord nor its property manager or any affiliate shall be required to provide any services except as described in this Work Agreement. Landlord may deduct the fee from the TI Allowance.

  • Project Management and Coordination The Engineer shall coordinate all subconsultant activity to include quality of and consistency of work and administration of the invoices and monthly progress reports. The Engineer shall coordinate with necessary local entities.

  • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.

  • Project Coordination The Engineer shall coordinate all subconsultant activity to include quality and consistency of deliverables and administration of the invoices and monthly progress reports. The Engineer shall coordinate with necessary local entities.

  • Construction Management Services a. A-E may be required to review and recommend approval of submittals, shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI) and/or calculations for temporary structures such as trench shoring, false work and other temporary structural forms. b. A-E may be required to review and advise the County Representative on the overall project schedule, including staging and completion dates, duration, milestones, and interfaces. Immediately notify Representative if the proposed work schedule does not conform to the contract documents, including the plans, specifications, and permits or that may require special inspection or testing, or work stoppage. c. Review on a monthly basis the project schedule and/or Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule submitted by the Construction Contractor. Make recommendations concerning the Construction Contractor’s adherence thereto. Recommend possible solutions to scheduling problems so as to complete the project on time, within budget, and in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. d. Review scope of work and identify potential contract change orders. Prepare independent cost estimates for any changes resulting from design revisions or change in field conditions. Prepare and recommend for approval all contract change orders. e. Evaluate the merit of any potential claims or requests for equitable adjustment submitted by the Construction Contractor. Prepare analysis of potential claims include recommendations regarding settlement of the claims. f. Assist County staff in project related issues with other Agencies, or departments, engineering and material testing support firms, CEQA consultants, utilities agencies, etc. g. Assist in community outreach meetings and media relations h. Review for acceptance/approval of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in accordance with the general Permit of Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activity (Construction General Permit, including dewatering/diversion plans per the State’s DeMinimus Permit).

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.

  • Construction Manager The individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, or any combination thereof, or its authorized representative, named as such by the District. If no Construction Manager is used on the Project that is the subject of this Contract, then all references to Construction Manager herein shall be read to refer to District.

  • Construction Management Fee The Construction Management Fee for the Project shall be either a ☒Lump Sum or ☐Not-To-Exceed Fee of Thirty-Six Thousand, Eight Hundred Forty-Six Dollars and Twenty-Six Cents ($36,846.26). NOTE: Allowances will be on a Not-To-Exceed basis. All unused funds will be returned to the School District at the time of construction closeout.   • Project Management Project Management Institute (PMI) certified project manager executing any or all of the following: • Development of Project Charter • Development of project plan and schedule • Coordination and scheduling of project activities across customer and functional areas • Consultation on operational and infrastructure requirements, standards and configurations • Facilitate project status meetings • Timely project status reporting • Address project issues with functional areas and management • Escalation of significant issues to customers and executive management • Manage project scope and deliverable requirements • Document changes to project scope and schedule • Facilitate and document project closeout

  • Coordination The Parties shall confer regularly to coordinate the planning, scheduling and performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on the Large Generating Facility and the Interconnection Facilities.

  • Project Management Plan 3.2.1 Developer is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control activities necessary to manage the Work, including the Utility Adjustment Work. Developer shall undertake all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for the Project and Work in accordance with the approved Project Management Plan, Good Industry Practice and applicable Law. 3.2.2 Developer shall develop the Project Management Plan and its component parts, plans and other documentation in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 1.5.2.5
