Maintenance Coverage. When Customer orders maintenance Service for Machines, IBM will inform Customer of the date on which maintenance Service will begin. IBM may inspect the Machine within one month following that date. If the Machine is not in an acceptable condition for service, Customer may have IBM restore it for a charge or Customer may withdraw its request for maintenance Service. However, Customer will be charged for any maintenance Service which IBM has performed at Customer’s request.
Maintenance Coverage. Maintenance Trades: On-call Coverage
Maintenance Coverage. This agreement covers all parts, labor, consumable supplies (except paper), including toner and developer, drum and fuser rollers. Staples are not included. Copiers Northwest shall maintain the equipment to perform in accordance with is specifications and shall promptly repair or replace, without any additional charge the equipment or any portion thereof, that has failures or defects. Copiers Northwest shall provide telephone support to respond to inquiries regarding the equipment, including without limitation, diagnosing problems with the equipment and recommending corrections and fixes of minor errors, problems or failures with the equipment, to the extent feasible over telephone communications. In addition to activities described above and tasks recommended by the manufacturer as routine maintenance tasks, Copiers Northwest shall perform routine maintenance services as required to keep the equipment operating in accordance with its specifications, including the provision of all replacement parts.
Maintenance Coverage. The Overtime tracking system will be utilizes to fill maintenance coverage needs. In the event there are no volunteers to work the company may outsource the performance of the work to be performed consistent with Article III of the Agreement.
Maintenance Coverage a) Period of maintenance coverage:
i) The State may select a period or periods of maintenance coverage, as provided for in the contract and stated in the Statement of Work, in accordance with the following: • A minimum monthly maintenance charge entitles the State to maintenance coverage during the Principal Period of Maintenance. • The State may select in lieu of the hours available for the minimum monthly maintenance charge, one or more of the optional periods of maintenance coverage for an additional charge as shown in the contract.
ii) The hours of maintenance coverage for a machine on Monday through Friday shall be the same each day and the hours on Saturday and Sunday shall be the same hours on all Saturdays or Sundays. All machines covered under this contract must have a simultaneous span of time within the selected periods of maintenance coverage, at least equal to the shortest period offered for any machine in the system.
iii) The State may change its selected period of maintenance coverage by giving contractor fifteen (15) days prior written notice.
b) Preventive Maintenance (scheduled) Unless otherwise stated in the Statement of Work (SOW), preventive maintenance can either be performed within or outside of the Principal Period of Maintenance (PPM). An additional charge may be made for preventive maintenance to be performed outside of the PPM, as set forth in the contract. No additional charge shall be made for preventive maintenance that is to be performed within the PPM.
c) Remedial Maintenance (unscheduled) Unless otherwise stated in the Statement of Work (SOW):
i) Remedial maintenance shall be performed after notification by authorized State personnel that the equipment is malfunctioning.
ii) The contractor shall provide the State with a designated point of contact and will initiate the remedial maintenance.
iii) There shall be no additional maintenance charges for: • Remedial maintenance during the period of maintenance coverage unless the remedial maintenance is due to the fault or negligence of the State. • Time spent by maintenance personnel after arrival at the site awaiting the arrival of additional maintenance personnel and/or delivery of parts, etc., after a service call has been commenced. • Remedial maintenance required because the scheduled preventive maintenance preceding the malfunction had not been performed, unless the State had failed to provide access to the equipment. • For time of delay beyond the PPM, contractor shall con...
Maintenance Coverage. (1) The government shall have the right to order maintenance on items shown in Section B for periods of one (1) year or less at the monthly rate specified in Section B.
(2) For equipment purchased under this contract, the effective date of maintenance service shall not be prior to the expiration of the three year warranty period prescribed in Section H-19.
(3) For equipment purchased under this contract during the three year warranty period prescribed in Section H-19, the same level of service as specified under this Section C-8 of the contract shall be provided by the contractor.

Maintenance Coverage. Customer will confirm with Verizon that Verizon is able to provide Maintenance Service(s) before ordering if: (a) Verizon did not install the equipment or software intended to be covered by maintenance, (b) the equipment or software is out of warranty or out of third party or Verizon-provided maintenance coverage, or (c) Verizon has not provided Maintenance on the equipment or software for more than 60 days. Verizon will notify Customer if Verizon finds the CPE is not in good working order and/or not in compliance with all applicable manufacturer specifications and therefore cannot be under Maintenance Service. Customer may request that Verizon upgrade and/or repair such CPE for an additional cost, as set out in an Order, at Verizon's then current rate, so such CPE can be brought under Maintenance Service. Additionally, Verizon may recommend corrections or improvements to operating environments or configuration to be performed at Customer's cost and expense. Failure to comply with Verizon's recommended corrections or improvements may cause Verizon to reject the System (or the applicable part thereof) for Maintenance Service, or remove it from the Maintenance Service.
Maintenance Coverage. In order to provide support to plant operations after hours, each maintenance mechanic is expected to be on-call for service. The company agrees that after six (6) months they will meet with the union to discuss the effectiveness of the program and review opportunities for improvement. This policy is separate from the current policy on “call in”/coverage for those employees classified as Control Mechanics, except that item 1(d) shall apply to control mechanics. The policy is as follows:
1. The on-call responsibility is rotated each payroll week. Typically, this will mean that the on-call week will run from Monday at 8:00 a.m. to Monday at 7:59 a.m. By December 15th of the preceding year, each Maintenance Mechanic will designate weeks in which they will be on-call (within first year of agreement details will be discussed). The weeks will be picked in seniority order until all weeks are covered.
a. Notwithstanding the above, a maintenance employee whom does not desire to be placed on-call may be permitted to give their on-call week(s) to another employee whom has the desire to cover such week(s).
b. The giving of the week(s) shall be to the senior employee who has a desire to accept such week(s) and where such does not otherwise conflict with the receiving employee’s schedule.
c. Maintenance Mechanics may trade on-call time as long as each mechanic is in agreement and communicates the change to the individual who maintains the on-call schedule. Notwithstanding anything contained herein a maintenance mechanic may only be required to be “on-call-duty” of not more than three (3) calendar weeks per year except for weeks not covered by the current xxxxxxx levels, where there are not volunteers, the junior employee(s) may be required to be on-call for one (1) additional week
d. Whenever an on-call maintenance mechanic is called in during a holiday, the employee will receive two (2) times their base hourly rate of pay, in addition to the Holiday Pay.
2. The Maintenance Mechanic on-call will be provided with a cell phone or an electronic pager. The Maintenance Mechanic is expected to remain in the central Indiana area and be able to respond at all times when on call.
3. The Maintenance Mechanic must respond to calls or pages from the plant within twenty (20) minutes.
4. In order to minimize disruption to personal hours, whenever possible, the Maintenance Mechanic may resolve the problem over the phone with plant personnel. Such working time will be paid time. For af...
Maintenance Coverage. Includes one (1) preventative maintenance service per covered system during each twelve (12) month agreement term. Preventative maintenance service is restricted to covered systems at your specified service address and will be performed by a HomeX Authorized Service Provider. HomeX will contact you when it is time to schedule your maintenance; the Company reserves the right to bundle and perform multiple maintenance services in a single visit.
