Staff Assignments. 18.1 The Contractor shall maintain Security Guards and supervisors that are ready to assist the Customer immediately in the event of flood, fire, natural/manmade disaster, or any other emergency. The Contractor will provide evidence of available utility/reinforcement Security Guards to the Customer’s Contract Manager and Facility Manager when requested.
18.2 The Contractor is responsible for creating a master schedule for Security Guards provided in accordance with a Customer’s SLA and providing it to the Customer in writing when requested. Prior to a Security Guard being assigned to a facility, whether a permanent employee or temporary replacement, the Contractor shall certify that all requirements of the Contract have been met. The Customer reserves the right to interview all new permanent or temporary employees prior to placement. The Contractor will supply the Customer’s Contract Manager and Facility Manager with notification of any changes to the master schedule or vacation schedules no less than seven days in advance.
18.3 Contractor will maintain a group of substitute/alternate Security Guards trained on the Customer’s facility for assignment as required. The Contractor will supply an updated list of trained Security Guards trained to perform security guard services at the Customer’s facility on a quarterly basis or as requested by the Customer.
18.4 In the event the assigned Security Guard is unable to perform the services as required, the Contractor shall supply another Security Guard(s), as necessary, at no additional cost to the Customer, to ensure that all assignments are performed.
18.5 The Contractor shall provide coverage of additional shifts or special requests as approved by the Customer pursuant to this section and the Staffing Requirement and Security Guard Turnover Rate section of this SOW, at standard hourly billing rates.

Should the scope of a project require that outside consulting or other needed services be obtained, applicants will be responsible for the entire cost of recruitment, source selection, and payment for such outside services. Applicants are responsible for paying actual costs for any services obtained through contract, even if such costs exceed the charge-out rate of a regular staff member providing similar services. LAFCo invoices will detail tasks, hours, staff charge-out rates, staff members responsible for work, and/or costs of contracted services. Invoices will also reflect the remaining balance of the initial deposit. Should the deposit be depleted, all staff work will cease until the deposit on file has been replenished. Projects with delinquent balances will not be scheduled for hearing, and the Commission will consider applicants to have waived any and all statutory deadlines. Staff Assignments. Each building principal shall have a right to make a determination regarding each staff member's assignment within his building, subject to review and adjustment by the Board and/or Superintendent.

Staff Assignments. The Board agrees that where practicable, the affected building administrator shall have the opportunity to interview and make recommendations concerning all personnel, certified and non-certified, who are being considered for employment to his/her building or department. Subject to the approval of the Superintendent, each building principal shall have a right to make a determination regarding a teacher's or administrator's assignment within his/her building. Such assignment shall be made in accordance with any other collective bargaining agreements which the Board has entered into and which address the subjects of assignments, work schedules, transfers, etc. It is agreed that any complaint by a building level employee regarding his/her assignment shall not proceed above the building level except through the recognized grievance procedure in such other unit's collective bargaining agreement.

Staff Assignments. 13.01 The Board and OAPSE agree that all job vacancies and newly created posted positions shall be filled by the most competent, capable, and qualified candidates available.
13.02 All vacancies and newly created posted positions shall be posted on the District website for five (5) working days for bidding. Notices of the vacancies will also be sent to employees by email. In addition, so that the vacancy and newly created posted position may be known to all employees, the President of the OAPSE Local shall receive a copy of the vacancy and newly created posted position posting by email. Notification of who is awarded the vacancy and newly created posted position shall be given to the Union President within five (5) working days of such award.
13.03 The notice of vacancy and newly created posted position shall include the qualifications, general responsibilities, estimated hours, wage, building and procedures for applying for the position and the deadline for filing the application. The estimated hours are an estimate only and are subject to change before or after the position is filled.
13.04 Employees who desire to apply for the vacancy and newly created posted position shall send a written application to the Superintendent within the time limit specified in the notice. All employees who meet the minimum qualifications for the posted vacancy shall be granted an interview. Candidates who are currently employed by the Board and meet the necessary qualifications for the position shall not be arbitrarily denied the position. If an applicant, after completing an interview, is not awarded the position, upon request of the candidate the Superintendent will explain the areas that the candidate lacked skills necessary for the job.
13.05 Applications will be accepted from within and outside the school district. Consideration shall be given to qualified candidates who are currently employed by the Board. Candidates shall be chosen on the basis of experience, meritorious performance and potential for leadership.
13.06 The word “days” when used in this article shall mean Mondays through Fridays exclusive of holidays. During the summer and other recesses, vacancy notices will be posted on the District website and a copy sent to the Union President by email.

The Contractor’s Maintenance Technicians responsible for the field repairs shall be trained for major module/PC board swap-out.
