Uniforms and Clothing Allowance. The Board agrees to provide the uniforms or uniform allowance as listed below: A. School Way Café Employee: School Way Café employees will be fitted for uniforms within the first thirty (30) days of returning to work for the new school year or at the end of the previous year. The Board will offer an alternative to School Way Café employees to select a pair of pre-approved uniform shoes in lieu of uniform pants. Utilization of a non-uniform pant by said employee shall comply with standards established by the School Way Café director. SWC will receive up to a $50.00 reimbursement for shoes. Receipt must be provided. B. Bus Operators & Attendants The Board shall supply uniforms from the approved catalog not to exceed $140 in value every year for each bus operator and attendant. Each bus operator and attendant with one (1) year of service as of December 1 will receive an annual allowance of $75.00 for the purchase of approved shoes. C. Uniforms for Transportation Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, and Helpers The Board shall supply uniforms, eleven (11) shirts and eleven (11) pants every two (2) weeks for each non-probationary employee. Each non-probationary employee with one (1) year of service will receive an annual allowance of $75.00 for the purchase of approved safety shoes. D. Warehouse Employees 1. Non-probationary warehousemen and deliverymen will have the equivalent of eleven (11) shirts and eleven (11) pants available to them every two (2) weeks. 2. Non-probationary freezer workers and drivers and helpers of freezer trucks will have insulated jackets, insulated gloves and insulated boots available to them. E. Coveralls shall be made available in all shops in the Maintenance and Transportation Departments. F. Campus Advisors Campus advisors will receive five (5) school shirts per contract year. Campus advisors will also be provided a jacket. The jacket will be replaced every two (2) years, if necessary. G. Employees issued uniforms by the board are required to wear those uniforms while on duty.
Uniforms and Clothing Allowance. If an employee is required by his/her Department Head to wear a uniform by the Employer, he/she will be supplied such uniform by the Employer. All employees whose work requires the wearing of protective clothing will be supplied such clothing by the Employer. Employees who resign or retire prior to June 30th or December 31st shall have their allowance pro- rated and paid out with their final paycheck. New employees shall receive the entire $250 allowance with their first paycheck when hired. If a new employee resigns prior to December 31st their check shall be deducted a pro-rated portion of the allowance for the months they did not work and received the allowance.

Uniforms and Clothing Allowance. 1. All members of the bargaining unit, upon hire, shall be provided with full uniform including equipment and leather gear, as set forth in Section 5 below. The initial supply of any item required by the Department to be worn or carried by an officer while on duty shall be supplied by the Borough. 2. After the officer's first year of employment, said member shall be responsible for purchasing his own uniforms and equipment and maintaining same as set forth herein. 3. The Borough shall pay a semi-annual uniform maintenance allowance of two hundred dollars ($200.00) to each full-time member of the Association for the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms. Said payment shall be made in January and July and paid in cash. New officers shall begin receiving their maintenance allowance in the period following the completion of one year of service (for example, an April hire receives the first $200 in July of the next year). 4. The Borough shall be responsible for providing handguns and ammunition for each Association member. 5. Uniforms and Clothing Allowance. Each employee upon appointment to the Fire Department shall furnish such complete uniform as may be required and thereafter, they shall receive the sum of three- hundred and fifty dollars ($350) each six (6) months, for the purpose of maintaining, cleaning, and / or replacing such uniforms or parts thereof. In the case of employees who are required to wear dress uniforms to or at work continuously, the amount shall be four- hundred and fifty dollars ($450) each six (6) months. Employees shall receive such amount on the last pay date in May and the last pay in November in accordance with the policy heretofore established for clothing maintenance and replacement. The May payment shall be for the period each year from January to June 30. The November payment shall be for the period each year from July to December 31. Each employee upon appointment to the Fire Department and completion of probation shall receive a separate allowance of three-hundred and seventy-five dollars ($375.00) to be applied towards the purchase of a dress uniform. It is further agreed that any change in uniform requirements or style of uniforms as specified or practiced in the past, shall be done at no cost to the employees, and reimbursement will be made to the employees following receipt of cost statement by the Chief or his designee. It is further agreed that any such changes shall take place among all employees in as short as time as practical. Each staff employee shall receive the sum of four-hundred and fifty dollars ($450.00) each six (6) months, for the purpose of maintaining, cleaning, alterations, sewing on of buttons, repairs or patches, and / or replacing such uniforms or parts thereof. A mutually agreed upon policy shall establish the daily work uniform requirements of fire fighters, company officers and staff employees.
Uniforms and Clothing Allowance. ‌ 16.01 The EMPLOYER shall provide all EMPLOYER required uniform articles and equipment and provide necessary replacement in kind. The EMPLOYER will provide uniform and clothing allowances for investigators and those assigned to the Drug Task Force, in the amount of $875 per annum. The clothing allowance will be paid in two equal installments, one during the month of January and one during the month of July. Investigators beginning their assignment after January 1st will receive a prorated amount based on the number of months remaining in the year.

The employer shall also provide each Dispatcher with a sweater (optional) with logo at the Dispatcher’s request. In the alternative, the Employer shall pay such employees $ 65.00 semi-annually (each January and July) toward such cost of uniforms. This provision applies only to those who have attained seniority as full-time employees. 23.02 Kitchen staff will be supplied with a ready supply of aprons and laboratory style coats.
