Annual Route Bidding. As soon as practicable after August 1 15 of each school year and prior to the bidding process, all known basic routes and positions available for bidding shall be posted for at least two (2) days at the bidding site. Routes shall be awarded on the basis of department seniority and with the following consideration:

Annual Route Bidding. 1. All transportation department employees shall receive, prior to the last student school day, a notice indicating the date, time, and place for the annual route bid.
Annual Route Bidding. A. Annual route pick for the drivers should be held prior to the start of the new school year. If possible route pick should be held in conjunction with the drivers in-service.

Drivers who fail to attend bidding or inform the Transportation Director of their preference shall be RIF’d, with no displacement rights pursuant to Appendix C, should there be no open routes available. Additionally, Xxx County School District reserves the right to reassign Drivers, within their attendance area, if hours are equal. This reassignment shall not be done for disciplinary purposes.
