Company Paid Holidays. The Company paid holidays shall be as follows: New Year's Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday Employee's Birthday The Employer shall designate which day shall be considered as Boxing Day under this agreement. Heritage Day shall be added to the list of recognized holidays under the term of this agreement, provided such day is declared a legal holiday by the Federal or Ontario Provincial Government. An employee may elect to take a date other than their birthday as their birthday holiday, provided such date is limited to the week in which their birthday occurs; and further, that such date is mutually acceptable to both the employee and the Employer. Full-time employees who shall work a minimum of five (5) days during the thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding one of the above designated holidays shall receive eight (8) hours or ten (10) hours credit consistent with section for such holiday and such hours shall be considered as hours worked and shall be added in the accumulated hours of work for that week. Full-time armoured car employees required to work on any of the above designated holidays shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4)hours of work or the equivalent thereof in pay at two times the basic hourly rate applicable to the classification to which they are assigned to work on such holiday and such hours of work shall not be added in the regular weekly hours of work for that week. If an eligible full-time employee shall work fifty percent (50%)or more hours in a higher classification during the week in a holiday shall occur, they shall be paid the holiday credit at the rate applicable to said higher classification. Part-time employees shall be paid holidays herein provided in accordance with Part of the Code.

If an employee fails to take their birthday holiday as per the above, it shall be paid out at the equivalent straight time rates as outlined in Article 10.03(e).

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to three (3) weeks' paid vacation each calendar year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays and other paid leave set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days during any calendar year that are not used by the Executive during such calendar year may be used in any subsequent calendar year; provided, however, that no more than six weeks' paid vacation may be accrued or carried forward.

  • Holidays The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday.   • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.
