Flexible Work Week. Where a flexible work week has been agreed upon between the Employer and the QCCC Area Representative, four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour normal shifts Monday through Friday, double time (2x) shall be paid after ten (10) hours. The applicable regional overtime rate shall be paid for the first ten (10) hours on a fifth working day, with double time (2x) thereafter. In such cases where a recognized holiday falls during a flexible work week, overtime shall be paid after thirty (30) hours worked. By mutual agreement, the employer and the QCCC representative may agree to alternative work schedules. See Appendices.
Flexible Work Week. An employee may waive the right to daily overtime and maintain a flexible work schedule when mutually agreed upon by the employee and the manager. The Flexible Work Week Agreement (Attachment A) must be signed and kept on file.
Flexible Work Week. Employees in full-time positions who are working a flexible workweek, such as the four-day workweek, ten hours per day, shall be paid a maximum of eight hours of holiday pay. If the employee's regular schedule includes hours in excess of eight per day, a holiday off shall either be supplemented by Annual Leave, other accrued paid time, or unpaid leave. Employees shall be paid eight hours (or four hours as defined herein for part-time employees) of holiday time for a holiday falling on their regular day off, or the employee may elect to accrue eight hours of holiday credit. Holiday Time Off balances (maximum 24 hours) when combined with the CTO balances shall not exceed sixty (60) hours. Employees may request to be paid in cash at any time for accrued hours. Use of holiday time off shall be at a time mutually agreed upon by the employee and department head or their representative. Employees shall not be allowed to accrue any additional hours until their holiday accrual falls below 24 hours, and their combined hours fall below the maximum sixty (60) hours. Any hours exceeding the sixty (60) hour combined maximum shall be paid in cash by the department on the next available pay period. Holiday time off hours may be paid off annually in cash at a time selected by the Department head at their discretion. Additionally, prior to any promotion or departmental transfer, employees must either cash out or use all accrued CTO and Holiday Time Off balances.
Flexible Work Week. An employee may request to work a flexible work week consisting of four (4) days at ten
Flexible Work Week. When it is agreed upon between the appropriate member of Chancellor’s Cabinet, the immediate supervisor and the employee affected, an employee shall be able to work their forty (40) hour week differently than five (5) days consisting of eight (8) hours each. (See required form, Appendix I) In reviewing these requests, the primary consideration shall be that the proposed schedule must benefit College services or operations. For the purposes of computing absences, vacation, sick, personal business time or other paid time off, actual hours of absence shall be reported on the employee’s Payroll Report. If this conflicts with other contract language because of unforeseen causes, the Human Resources Representative and the Union’s Executive Board shall have the authority to mutually agree to establish the language to correct this agreement. The parties further agree to the following:
1. Flexible work week requests for the fall and winter semesters will be considered on a timely basis as they occur; the form in Appendix I must be utilized with appropriate approval.
2. Flexible work week requests for the summer semester must meet the following requirements:
a. A summer flexible work schedule cannot begin prior to the Summer I session and cannot extend beyond the end of the Summer II session.
b. Flexible work week requests for the summer semester (Appendix I) must be submitted to the immediate supervisor, with copies to the campus xxxxxxx and the Human Resources Department, by no later than March 15 each year.
c. The immediate supervisor must discuss the request for a summer semester flexible schedule with the appropriate member of Chancellor’s Cabinet and a decision must be made and communicated to the bargaining unit member by no later than April 15 each year, with a copy to Human Resources.
3. The 40-hour flex work week is subject to the following conditions:
a. Overtime will be paid only for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
b. Employee shall not work more than 12 hours in one day.
4. Denial of individual requests for a Flexible Work Week for any reason shall not be a subject to the grievance procedure.
5. The College retains the right, in its sole discretion, to alter the schedule established under this Flexible Work Week in the event it becomes necessary to do so. Any decision made by the College per this Appendix I shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.
6. Because the implementation of this Flexible Work Week will require more cooperation...
Flexible Work Week. The Department or Appointing Authority may provide a flexible work week program for Managers consistent with the provisions of N.J.A.C. 4A:6-2.6, as may be amended from time to time. Disputes arising under this provision are not subject to the contractual grievance/arbitration provisions set forth in Article V.
Flexible Work Week. Notwithstanding item 2 above, the District has the option to establish a Flexible Work Week that consists of four (4) non-consecutive days, ten (10) consecutive hours. Employees who work the Flexible Work Week shall receive three (3) days off per week, two (2) of which shall be Saturday and Sunday.
a. All hours in excess of ten (10) per day and forty (40) per week shall be paid at time and one-half (1.5X) the employee's regular rate of pay provided that all hours worked in excess of five (5) compensable days and fifty (50) compensable hours shall be paid at double time (2X) the employee's regular rate of pay.
b. All compensated Leaves shall be paid at the rate of ten (10) hours per day.
Flexible Work Week. Subject to providing the coverage which meets the unique operational requirements of the affected department(s), the scheduling principle underlying the flexible work week is that each employee will establish her/his own work schedule in accordance with the provisions set out in paragraphs (a) and (b) below. The manager and employee will periodically meet to review the work schedule to ensure that operational requirements are being met.
(a) Flex Time (Monday to Friday) The hours of work for the full-time positions set out below: Senior Recovery Coordinator Commercial Claims Appraiser Supervisor Commercial Claims Research Project Advisor Research Communications Specialist Driver Education Programs Advisor Driver Examiner Instructor
i) Work Week - position incumbents will work thirty- seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours per week Monday through Friday on a flexible time basis.
ii) Premium - position incumbents will be paid a five percent (5%) premium on gross salary in recognition of the requirement for flexible hours as described in (i).
iii) Overtime will be paid on hours worked in excess of thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours per week at the rate of:
- 1 1 2 x for the first hour - 2 x for the subsequent hours, and for any hours worked on a scheduled day off.
iv) Sick leave entitlement will be paid on the basis of a thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hour work week.
(b) Flex Time (Sunday to Saturday) The hours of work for the full-time positions set out below: Regional Coordinator, Marketing & Communication Coordinator, Programs & Events Regional Loss Prevention Coordinator Commercial Claims Examiner Driving School Inspector Broker Relations Representative Insurance Sales Representatives Will be as follows:
i) Work Period - position incumbents will work seventy- five (75) hours per bi-weekly period on a flexible time basis, and will be scheduled off work for at least four

Flexible Work Week. Employees may request to deviate from their normal work schedules in order to accommodate personal needs so long as they work and/or charge remaining entitlement time for a total of forty (40) hours during the week. Any request to work a flexible work week must be made in advance and will be granted unless the requested schedule cannot be accommodated based on business needs. Employees working a flexible work week will not be entitled to cycle time. They will not be entitled to receive overtime pay for any hours worked (including Saturday and Sunday) until the total of their working hours and charged remaining entitlement time exceeds forty
