Hours of Work and Rosters. 2.1 The spread of hours will be 7.00am to 9:30pm, Monday to Saturday and may be extended by mutual agreement – including a 6.30am commencement time by mutual agreement.
2.2 Employees shall be expected to regularly participate in:
(a) the afternoon shift roster and work a minimum of one afternoon shift per fortnight, excepting Endoscopy Nurses who will be required to work afternoon shifts when rostered to do so (with no minimum afternoon shifts to be worked); and
(b) the on call roster; and/or weekend roster (where applicable). For clarity, Endoscopy Nurses employed at Launceston are not expected to participate in the on call roster and therefore do not meet the criteria set out at clause 4.2(a)(ii) to qualify for an additional 1 week of annual leave. Should the Employer’s requirements change such that Endoscopy Nurses employed at Launceston meet the criteria set out in clause 2, including 2.2(a) and (b), they will be eligible for an additional 1 week of annual leave.
2.3 Employees will be rostered to work variable shift lengths of 6, 8 and 10 hours, which will be rostered consistent with operating session requirements.
2.4 Shifts of 4 hours or less will be worked by mutual agreement.
2.5 Participation by an Employee on a variable shift length roster will not require the Employee to work any additional days (than a roster based upon an ordinary shift length of 8 hours) in order to fulfil their contracted hours of employment, unless by mutual agreement.
Hours of Work and Rosters. Employees’ hours of work will be in accordance with the shift patterns and rosters contain in schedule [specify schedule] to this Agreement.
Hours of Work and Rosters. 15.1 Full time ordinary hours of work shall be an average of thirty-eight (38) per week to be worked over any days of the week. Ordinary hours may be averaged over a period of up to twenty-six

Hours of Work and Rosters. 9.1. Xxxxxxx and hours of work will be based on an average of 35 ordinary hours per week, averaged over a roster cycle. Shifts will include an effective handover at the start and end of each shift.
9.2. An Employee shall not be rostered to work more than 12.5 hours in any one shift and will have a minimum break of 10 consecutive hours between shifts.
9.3. [start and finish time tbd] Employees will present themselves ready to start their rostered shift, at the prescribed start time and location.
9.4. The Company may require an Employee or Employees to change shift or their place on the roster. Where this occurs, the Employee must receive:
a) one week’s notice of any change is given to the Employee, or four weeks’ notice of any change where the Employee will be changing to a non- continuous shift roster; or
b) where less notice is given, the Employee will be paid at overtime rates for all work from the time of change of shift until that notice period would have expired..
9.5. The Company may only introduce a new roster following consultation, and with the agreement of the majority of affected employees.

Hours of Work and Rosters. 3.2.1 The spread of hours for any employee shall not exceed 11 hours inclusive of meal breaks within any day unless mutually agreed in writing. There must be an 8-hour interval between an employee finishing work and presenting for their next shift. If there is not an 8-hour break, overtime will be paid for that next shift (see overtime section 3.5).
3.2.2 The minimum hours that any employee will be rostered on for any day is three hours. A minimum payment of 3 hours will apply. The only exclusion to this will be to attend paid meetings or training, where hours in attendance only will be paid, and at normal rates only.
3.2.3 The CSCC will post, and keep posted in a prominent place accessible to the employees concerned, a roster showing the surname and initials of each employee and the times to be worked. Rosters may only be changed by giving seven days notice unless otherwise agreed to by the employee and the CSCC and advised in writing. Rosters in the Function and Restaurant Sections may be changed from time to time to meet the ongoing operational needs of the CSCC.
3.2.4 Employees cannot arrange to change shifts without the approval of the Duty Manager or their representative.
3.2.5 On completion of a shift employees must sign off on the timesheet and present it to the Duty Manager for certification before leaving the premises.
3.2.6 An employee, other than a casual, that works a broken shift or split shift (one where the break is longer than 1 hour) will be paid an allowance of $3.38 for that day.
Hours of Work and Rosters. 17.1. The ordinary hours of work shall be an average of thirty five (35) per week averaged across the roster cycle. In addition, Employees may be required to work a reasonable amount of overtime as the need arises. Payment for such hours shall be calculated from the Base Hourly Rates as defined in Clause 14.
17.2. The current working patterns are identified in Appendix 1.
17.3. An Employee may agree with Xxxxxx to change their working pattern or place in a work pattern at 48 hours’ notice without additional payment.
17.4. In the absence of agreement, Employees may be required to change work patterns or their place in any work pattern as identified in Appendix 1 on the provision of seven (7) days’ notice.
17.5. In the absence of agreement and where less than seven (7) days’ notice is given the Employee is paid at overtime rates for all work from the time the change was notified until the weeks’ notice would have expired.
17.6. The range of work patterns available for introduction is not restricted by this Agreement.
17.7. The current patterns in Appendix 1 may be varied by Xxxxxx or new patterns introduced by Xxxxxx following consultation (provided for in clause 37) between Xxxxxx and directly affected Employees and if requested by the directly affected Employees, their representative. Any such change will be implemented by provision of twenty eight
Hours of Work and Rosters.
8.1. The ordinary hours of work will be 38 per week, or an average of 38 hours per week but not exceeding 152 hours in 28 days.
8.2. Ordinary hours must not exceed a maximum of twelve (12) ordinary hours in any one day.
8.3. The ordinary hours of work must be worked continuously at the discretion of the Company, except for meal breaks or other breaks prescribed in this Enterprise Agreement.
8.4. Ordinary hours on other than Night shift and Afternoon shift work may be worked between the hours of 05:00 and 18:00 on any day.
8.5. The spread of ordinary hours in any section may start and finish up to one (1) hour later by agreement between the Company and a majority of employees from that section who would be affected by the change.
8.6. Each employee is entitled to be free from duty for not less than two (2) days in each week or four (4) days in each fortnight. Ordinary hours may not be worked over more than six
Hours of Work and Rosters. (a) The ordinary hours of work are 38 hours per week averaged over a 28 day cycle.
(b) Unless otherwise agreed between UGL and an Employee, the spread of hours of work for rostered Employees will be between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm for dayshift and 6:00pm and 6:00am for nightshift inclusive.
(c) Employees may be requested to work such hours, including shift work, rostered overtime applicable to a 12-hour working day, weekend and public holiday work, as required for the effective performance of their role. Any overtime outside rostered hours will be approved and directed by UGL. Overtime worked will be allocated in consideration of operational requirements, fatigue management and workplace health and safety.
(d) Work will be arranged in accordance with rosters. Without limiting UGL’s right to determine its rosters consistent with notice provisions and the provisions of consultation at clause 19, sample rosters for the purposes of this Agreement are in Appendix 3.
12.1 UGL has the right to introduce new rosters. UGL will consult with Employees in accordance with clause
Hours of Work and Rosters. (1) Employees shall be rostered for 168 hours' work in a 28 day cycle. Work shall be performed on the basis of 14 days offshore exclusive of travel time, followed by 14 days onshore off duty on leave of absence without pay, inclusive of travel time.
(2) Total ordinary hours of work in a cycle shall be 38 multiplied by the number of weeks in the cycle. For the purpose of assessing the total ordinary hours in a cycle, all time up to a maximum of 12 hours' work on any day shall be taken into account.
