Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. The School agrees that it shall comply with all State and Federal law concerning student attendance, standards of conduct and discipline. The School’s procedures shall provide that appeal in student discipline cases shall be to the Governing Board of the School, rather than to the Institute Board.
i. Attendance of students at the School shall be in compliance with Colorado’s compulsory attendance laws, including, without limitation, hour requirements and the distinction made between excused and unexcused absences.
ii. The School shall adopt a code of conduct for students. The school will develop codes, policies, and procedures regarding student conduct and student discipline that are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including, without limitation, the grounds and procedures established by statute for suspending, expelling or denying admission to a student.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. The School agrees that it shall establish its own school year calendar and develop its own discipline and dress code policies. The School’s procedures shall provide that appeal in student discipline cases shall be to the Board of Directors of the School (“the Charter Board”) or its designee rather than to the District Board; provided, however, that the School may forward a recommendation to the District for expulsion of a student from all District schools when the School expels a student from its School.
2.1.1. Attendance of students at the School shall be in compliance with Colorado’s compulsory attendance laws, including, without limitation, hour requirements and the distinction made between excused and non-excused absences.
2.1.2. The School may adopt its own code of conduct for students and shall be granted a waiver from corresponding District policies as long as the developed codes, policies and procedures regarding student conduct and student discipline are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including, without limitation, the grounds and procedures established by Colorado laws for suspending, expelling or denying admission to a student.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. A. Except to the extent expressly waived, the Charter School shall comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations concerning student attendance and standards of conduct and discipline. The Charter School also shall comply with all District approved policies and regulations concerning student attendance and standards of conduct and discipline. The Charter School shall promptly develop specific rules of conduct similar to the building level conduct rules developed by individual schools in the District which shall be applied in the Charter School. The Charter School may request additional waivers from specific Board policies and regulations regarding conduct, and discipline in accordance with Article 5 below, provided that the Charter School shall agree to implement specific replacement policies and regulations or otherwise provide evidence satisfactory to the District that reasonably acceptable policies and procedures for the conduct and discipline of the Charter School Students will be maintained. The Charter School shall ensure that its students comply with Colorado’s compulsory attendance laws, including, without limitation, hour requirements and the distinction made between excused and unexcused absences.
B. Subject to applicable law and waiver of any inconsistent state laws, regulations or rules, the Charter School’s administrator shall have the authority to suspend Charter School Students for not more than ten (10) school days to the same extent as the Board has delegated such authority to building principals in Board Policy JKD/JKE. Upon the written recommendation of the administrator of the Charter School, the District may expel or suspend a Charter School Student for more than ten (10) days in accordance with District policy and applicable state and federal law. Such recommendation by the Charter School administrator shall include the proposed grounds for expulsion or suspension more than ten (10) days, a recitation of the facts upon which the proposed disciplinary action is based, and all pertinent educational and disciplinary documentation and records. Students expelled from the Charter School shall be excluded from District property and activities to the same extent as students expelled from other schools of the District. The parties agree that the District retains sole authority and responsibility to determine whether to expel or suspend for more than ten (10) days a Charter School Student recommended for such discipline by JRCS’ adminis...
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. (i) The Forest Grove Community School shall implement a system of uniform student conduct. The Forest Grove Community School shall notify its students of the students' rights and responsibilities at the beginning of each school year, or as a student meets the admission requirements as stated in this Contract. The Forest Grove Community School shall maintain accurate enrollment data and daily records of student attendance and shall provide access to this data to the District on a monthly basis via Synergy student information system.
(ii) The Forest Grove Community School shall notify the District immediately upon a student being expelled from the Forest Grove Community School.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. (i) TLCS shall utilize the District’s system of uniform student conduct. TLCS shall notify its students of the students’ rights and responsibilities at the beginning of each school year, or as a student meets the admission requirements as stated in this Contract. TLCS shall maintain accurate enrollment data and daily records of student attendance.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. Liberty Common shall comply with all governing laws and all School District policies and regulations concerning student attendance, standards of conduct and discipline to the extent not waived or amended in writing by the School District, unless superseded by this Renewal Contract or by conflicting Liberty Common policies and/or regulations that have been approved in writing by the School District. Liberty Common’s procedures shall provide for the appeal of student suspensions, except in cases of a suspension preceding recommended expulsion, to the Liberty Common Board of Directors. When the headmaster of Liberty Common recommends a student for expulsion, the proceedings shall be referred to the School District’s Assistant Superintendent for handling through the District’s expulsion process. The School District’s Board shall have final authority regarding appeals in student expulsion cases.
2.1.1 Attendance of students at Liberty Common shall be in compliance with Colorado’s compulsory attendance laws, including but not limited to hour requirements and the distinction made between excused and unexcused absences.
2.1.2 Liberty Common may adopt its own set of policies and procedures concerning student conduct and student discipline as long as such policies and procedures are consistent with governing law and are consistent with School District policies and regulations to the extent not waived or amended in writing by the School District.
2.1.3 Any material modifications to approved Liberty Common student attendance, conduct or discipline policies and/or procedures shall be submitted to the School District’s Chief of Staff for review and feedback prior to implementation.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. Unless and until 00 Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx adopts its own set of written policies, as provided below, Liberty Common 50 agrees that it shall comply with all Board of Education-approved policies and regulations 51 concerning student attendance, standards of conduct, and discipline. 52
53 (1) Liberty Common has adopted its own written attendance policy and 55 is in compliance with Colorado's compulsory attendance laws. 56
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline i. CLA shall implement a system of uniform student discipline consistent with State law and District policies and rules concerning conduct and discipline. CLA shall comply with all State laws and District policies and rules concerning student attendance, standards of conduct and discipline. CLA shall notify its students of the student rights and responsibilities via its student handbook, its website, or another form of written documentation.
ii. All students enrolled in online courses must meet face to face with a CLA teacher for a minimum of 30 minutes per week. This meeting must be face to face. Skype, FaceTime or other similar electronic methods will not substitute for face to face meeting requirements.
iii. CLA shall maintain accurate enrollment data and daily records of student attendance and shall provide this data to the District as requested. CLA shall maintain enrollment and attendance data on the District's student information/attendance system and software. The District shall provide CLA with required software and training to allow CLA personnel to input such enrollment data, or will make other arrangements that are mutually agreeable.
1. Student attendance at CLA shall be in compliance with Oregon's compulsory attendance laws.
2. Discipline involving suspension and expulsion shall be achieved according to Oregon law.
3. Upon determining that initiation of expulsion proceedings is warranted, the Director shall serve as the hearings officer and render a decision. This decision may be appealed to the CLA School Board. The CLA School Board will review the hearings officer's decision at its next regular or special meeting and will affirm, modify or reverse the decision. Parents of students who wish to appeal the hearings officer's decision will have the opportunity to be heard at the time the CLA School Board reviews the decision.
4. Prior to expulsion, CLA will work with the District to propose alternative programs of instruction or instruction combined with counseling to a student expelled for reasons other than a weapons policy violation. CLA must document to the parent of the student that proposals of alternative programs have been made.
5. CLA will deny admission to resident and non-resident students who are under expulsion for a weapons policy violation. CLA shall deny admission to non-resident students who are under expulsion from another district for reasons other than a weapons policy violation.
Student Attendance, Conduct and Discipline. (i) PBCCS shall implement a system of uniform student conduct (Exhibit I - Student Handbook). PBCCS shall notify its students of the student’s rights and responsibilities at the beginning of each school year, or as a student meets the admission requirements as stated in this Contract. PBCCS shall maintain accurate enrollment data and records of average daily membership and shall provide this data to the District on a monthly basis by no later than the 5th day of the month for the preceding month.
(ii) PBCCS shall notify the District immediately upon a student being expelled from PBCCS. The continued education of non-resident student(s) expelled from PBCCS shall be PBCCS’ responsibility.
(iii) PBCCS student conduct and discipline will comply with ORS 339.240-339.280, and will comply with the District’s Code of Conduct.

(ii) The School may adopt its own set of written policies concerning student conduct and student discipline and shall be granted a waiver from corresponding School District policies as long as the developed policies are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including, without limitation, the grounds and procedures established by state statute for suspending, expelling or denying admission to a student.
