Teacher Workload and Hours of Work. All workload matters not specifically dealt with elsewhere in this Agreement are to be considered through a joint decision making process at the School and shall be recorded in ‘Teacher Workload Agreement’ in accordance with the following: For the purpose of making the ‘Teacher Workload Agreement’, a working group of School representatives and teacher representatives (who may be members of the Consultative Committee or other teachers elected for the specific purpose of making the agreement) shall be formed. Teacher representatives shall be elected by and from the teaching staff. Once the Teacher Workload Agreement has been adopted, the working group is no longer required. Teaching staff shall have a minimum of seven (7) clear working days to review the proposed workload agreement before voting. The vote will be by secret ballot of the teachers and decided by a simple majority of votes cast. The documented agreement is to be signed by the Principal and an elected staff representative. If agreement about changes to the workload under this Clause 26 cannot be reached, the status quo prior to commencement of negotiations will remain. The Workload Agreement as at the commencement of this Agreement is in Schedule 13. For clarity, it can be modified through the establishment of a new ‘Teacher Workload Agreement’. Any concerns about the implementation of the workload agreement shall be addressed through the Consultative Committee in the School. The agreement may be reviewed annually. The timing of any review will be determined by the Consultative Committee. Either the school or the teacher representatives on the Consultative Committee may initiate a review of the workload agreement. If teachers are of the opinion that appropriate joint decision making on the matter of workload has not taken place, then the dispute resolution process will be used. The Consultative Committee will commence a review of teacher workloads by 31 December 2021. The Consultative Committee will seek input from teachers, school leadership and the IEUWA, Matters to be considered during the review will include: the 100 hours per semester co-curricular requirement of teachers How an extra 20 minutes of DOTT for primary teachers may be achieved. The following Clauses (26.3 - 26.9) supplement the NES in respect of maximum weekly hours.   • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift. Forty (40) hours shall constitute a normal week's work, Monday through Friday inclusive. Variances beyond one (1) hour of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. shall be agreed mutually between the Employer and the Business Manager. The one (1) hour variance is conditional upon the Employer giving the Union and affected employees appropriate advance notice. If the foregoing starting or quitting times are changed without mutual agreement, applicable overtime rates shall be paid for any time worked before or after the above hours as a result of the change of the times.

  • Days and Hours of Work The standard workweek for workers occupying full-time positions consists of 40 hours unless otherwise specified by the Board of Supervisors. The appointing authority shall fix the hours of work with due regard for the convenience of the public and the laws of the State and the County. Workers occupying part-time positions shall work such hours and schedules as the Board and the appointing authority shall prescribe.

  • – HOURS OF WORK & SCHEDULING 15.01 The normal hours of work for an employee are not a guarantee of work per day or per week, or a guarantee of days of work per week. The normal hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours per day, and seventy-five (75) hours in any bi-weekly period.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.   • Flexible Hours of Work 19.1 Flexible hours of work, or flextime, is a system designed to provide for the individual preferences and work habits of employees while at the same time ensuring the efficient operation of the Employer's service.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • ARTICLE HOURS OF WORK The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule.
