COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 3.01 During the term of this agreement the Company shall deduct Union dues from the wages of
3.02 Such deduction shall be made from the wages payable to each employee on the first pay day in each calendar month. The Company shall notify the Financial Secretary of the Union of the name of any employee whose wages were insufficient to permit such deduction and shall not be obligated to make such deduction from subsequent wages.
3.03 The amount of Union dues to be deducted shall be the regular monthly membership dues duly authorized by the Constitution of the Union. The Financial Secretary of the Union shall notify the Company by letter of the monthly amount of such dues and any changes therein, and such notification shall be the Company's conclusive authority to make the deduction specified.
(a) A list identifying each individual in the Bargaining Unit from whom dues were deducted and the amount of dues deducted from each and the totals of such amounts.
(b) A list setting forth the amount by which any individuals are in arrears with their dues payment and the apparent reason for such arrears.
(c) A list identifying each individual in the Bargaining Unit and specifying the quarterly Supplementary Payment Plan received by each employee and the total of such amounts.
(d) A list specifying the gross bi-weekly earnings of each employee from whom dues were deducted and the totals of such bi-weekly earnings.
3.04 All employees hired during the term of this agreement shall, as a condition of employment, and within 30 days after commencement of their employment, be required to execute an authorization for deduction of their Union dues, in the form hereinafter provided. Such authorization, and all other authorizations in effect on or after the signing date of this agreement, shall not be revocable, subject to the provisions of this agreement, notwithstanding any provision contained in any previously executed authorization.
3.05 An authorization by an employee shall be deemed to be revoked, (a) upon termination of employment, or (b) upon transfer out of the bargaining unit. The authorization shall automatically be reinstated if, in the former case, the former employee is recalled in accordance with 7.03 hereof, or, in the latter case, he/she is transferred back into the bargaining unit.
3.06 Authorization for deduction of Union dues shall be in the form as shown below:
COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 11.01 The Company will deduct regular weekly dues, special assessments, and initiation fees as certified by the Union in writing from all full-time employees covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union. The Company agrees to remit, by the 15th day of the following month, such initiation fees and dues together with a list of employees from whom such deductions were made to 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx, #0, Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, X0X 0X0.
COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 11.01 The Company will deduct regular weekly dues and initiation fees equal to monthly dues as certified by the Union in writing from all full-time employees covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union. The Company agrees to remit, by the 15th day of the following month, such initiation fees and dues together with a list of employees from whom such deductions were made to the offices of Unifor, Local 414. The Company shall supply the Area Union Office on a quarterly basis with a list which shows the employees' names, addresses and telephone numbers currently on file, as well as store number and full-time/part-time status.
COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 24.1 The Employer shall deduct from the salary of each employee, as a condition of continued employment, such initiation fees, union dues and other assessments which are established by the Association. These deductions will be mailed to the Treasurer of the Association by the 21st of the following month. Accompanying these deductions will be a list showing the name and employee number of each employee for and on behalf of whom such deductions have been made, and the amount deducted in respect of each such employee.
24.2 The Association will save the Employer harmless from any claims that may arise either from any deductions from wages in respect of check-off of monthly assessments or any related action taken at the request of the Association.
COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 1. The Company shall deduct basic Union dues, during the term of the Agreement, from member employees' wages in such amounts as are specified by the Union, and forward monthly to the Union the amounts so deducted.
2. The Company and the Union shall work out a mutually satisfactory agreement by which the Company will furnish the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union, monthly, a record of those for whom deductions have been made, together with the amounts of such deductions.
3. The present Union dues deduction authorization forms will continue in use until the amount of dues is to be changed. In that event the Union will give adequate notice to the Company and the Union will furnish new authorizations with no amount stated. No subsequent change in the amount of dues will require a new authorization.
4. The Company’s obligation under this Section 2 as well as under any payroll deduction authorization form signed by any employee, regardless of its contents, shall not survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement (or the expiration or termination of any written extensions). The Company shall provide the Union with thirty (30) days notice before suspending dues deduction. The Company may, therefore, unilaterally and without negotiation, discontinue the payroll deductions until the parties have successfully negotiated a successor Agreement which includes a dues check off obligation.
5. The union agrees to indemnify and hold harmless its directors, officers, agents and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, lawsuits or any other forms of liability, monetary or otherwise.
6. The Company and the Union will each be responsible for printing their own contracts. Both parties will endeavor to have the contract reviewed, proofed, and printed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after notice of ratification.
COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 3.1 All employees covered by this agreement shall, as a condition of employment sign a Union membership card and shall become and remain a member of the Union for the duration of his/her employment in the bargaining unit.
3.2 The company will collect, by weekly payroll deduction, the initiation fee from probationary members and forward said amount to I.A.M. L.L. 2792 on a monthly basis.
3.3 All employees of the Company covered by this agreement who have successfully completed their probation shall be required to sign a deduction authorization form, as shown below. I hereby assign to Local Lodge Number 2792, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, from any wages earned or to be earned by me as your employee, a fixed dollar and cent sum equal to that prescribed by the Unions International Constitution and the Local Lodge Constitution, as my membership dues in said Union. I authorize and direct you to deduct such amounts from each pay period for each month and remit the same to the Secretary Treasurer of the Union. 3.4 In consideration of the deducting and forwarding of Union dues by the Company, the Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Company against any claims of liabilities ensuing or resulting from the operation of the check-off provision. The Company agrees to remit the collected union dues on or before the fifteenth (15) of the following month.

COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. 3.01 The Company shall deduct Union dues including, where The applicable, initiation fees and assessments, on a bi-weekly basis pay from the wages of each employee covered by this agreement. The amount of dues shall be calculated in accordance with the Union’s Constitution.
3.02 All dues, initiation fees and assessments shall be remitted to the Union forthwith and in any event no later than 10 days from the payday on which the remittance was deducted. The remittance shall be sent to the International Secretary Treasurer of the United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO- CLC, P.O. Box 13083 Postal Station ‘A’, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X 0X0 in such form as shall be directed by the Union to the Company along with a completed Dues Remittance Form R-115. A copy of the dues Remittance Form R-115 will also be sent to the Union’s Regional Office and to Local 1005’s Office.
3.03 The remittance and the R-115 form shall be accompanied by a statement containing the following information:
a) A list of the names of all employees from whom dues were deducted and the amount of dues deducted;
b) A list of the names of all employees from whom no deductions have been made and reasons.
3.04 This information shall be sent to the Union addresses identified in clause 3.02 in such form as shall be directed by the Union to the Company.
3.05 The Union shall indemnify and save the Company harmless against all claims or other forms of liability that may arise out of any actions taken by the Company in compliance with this Section.
3.06 The Company, when preparing T-4 slips for the employees, will enter the amount of Union dues paid to the employee during the previous year.

COLLECTION OF UNION DUES. ARTICLE 11.1 Subject to the thirty (30) day period provided in Article 1.01 herein the Corporation Treasurer shall collect and pay to the Association, its dues by deduction from payroll in such sum as the Association shall establish. Such deductions will commence on receipt by the Corporation Treasurer of signed authorization by the member. The Association shall give notice in writing to the Treasurer of the Corporation upon his request of the amount to be collected for such dues. The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the Corporation, its officers, agents, and/or employees acting on behalf of the Corporation, from any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of, or in any way connected with the collection of such dues.
