Vacation and Personal Leave. Section One. Vacation leave with pay is granted to full-time, permanent AAGs, at the rate of one and one-quarter (1 ¼) work days per month, for a total of fifteen (15) days per year. Each “day” will be computed at eight (8) hours. Such AAGs are eligible to begin taking paid vacation after completing six (6) months of service. Eligible AAGs employed on less than a full-time basis earn vacation leave for continuous service prorated in proportion to the amount of time actually worked. Requests for vacation and personal leave should be made to the Department Head as far in advance as possible. Such requests will be approved based on the operating needs of the department and agency.
Vacation and Personal Leave. Consistent with current policies applicable to ACPS senior administrative personnel, the Division Superintendent will receive a total of 18 calendar daysvacation leave, and 4 days personal leave, annually, exclusive of legal holidays. The Board agrees that the Division Superintendent will be granted liberal use of this vacation and personal leave with reasonable advance notice to the Board Chairman. When the Division Superintendent is on leave he will not be expected to engage in or respond to administrative matters except in the case of a bona fide emergency. The Division Superintendent may carry over from one year to the next vacation and personal leave on a basis consistent with the policies which apply to ACPS employees generally, provided however, that no more than 21 days of vacation leave may be accrued. The Division Superintendent may elect to receive a cash payment for up to 12 annual leave days per year, at a per diem rate calculated by the Division Superintendent’s then-current base salary divided by 240 days.
Vacation and Personal Leave. The Superintendent may take, at the Superintendent's choice, subject to notice to the Board, ten (10) days of vacation per year, which may be used in a single period or at different times. Vacation days, which may be accumulated without limit, may not be liquidated for cash. The vacation days taken by the Superintendent will be taken at such time or times as will least interfere with the performance of the Superintendent' s duties as set forth in this Contract. The Superintendent is hereby granted the same personal leave benefits as authorized by Board Policy DEC (legal) and (local), and/or such other Board policy or policies as may be adopted by the Board from time to time. The Superintendent shall not take more than three (3) consecutive personal leave days during the school year unless the Superintendent obtains, with reasonable advance notice, the Board President's written approval. The Superintendent shall inform Board President of his designee. If, at the end of any school year, the Superintendent has accrued unused personal leave, he may request payment for such accrued benefits based upon a ratio of the then current annual salary rate (at the daily rate of the Superintendent's base salary) divided by 226 days, and the District shall make payment as salary, to a maximum of twenty (20) days for the 2020-2021 school year, twenty-five (25) days for the 2021-2022 school year, and thirty (30) days for the remainder of the Contract term.

Vacation and Personal Leave. Approved sick, personal and vacation leave may be charged for core time missed. If a whole day is taken off, an employee must charge their accrued leave time to cover their regularly scheduled hours for that day. Overtime/Comp. Time Policy: Refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Default Schedule: Prior approved work schedule. Operational Need: The Agency must have necessary staff present in order to operate during business hours so that there is no disruption in the workplace. The Agency must also ensure that there is staff to meet the responsibilities of the workplace. (Employees must report to the work site or any other designated location for any required trainings or meetings.) Any and all other options mutually agreed upon.
