Failure on the part of an employee to conduct his work in accordance with these rules, or to work safely as prescribed by Management, may result in disciplinary action.

WORKING RULES AND REGULATIONS. 11.01 The Company reserves the right to establish or alter from time to time and enforce reasonable rules and regulations which are not inconsistent with the terms of this agreement. Contractors covered by this agreement agree to observe and abide by the working rules and regulations as set out in Schedule "B". 11.02 [R] The urban geographic area is defined as the City of Ottawa, except everything Northwest of March Rd. This urban area would also include all addresses in Carp, ON.
WORKING RULES AND REGULATIONS. A. In the event any bargaining unit member has concerns regarding working conditions, it is recommended that the member seek assistance from their immediate supervisor and the Association before contacting the Central Office. B. The use of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs is prohibited on school buses and all school property. Personal communication devices are strictly prohibited from use while driving the bus. C. The driver is responsible for completing a pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the mechanical condition of the bus pursuant to checklists established by the district. The diver is also responsible for maintaining his/her vehicle in a clean and orderly condition (i.e., sweeping, washing). Also, each driver shall be required to schedule his/her vehicle for regular preventative maintenance checks and servicing (grease jobs, oil changes, etc.) In addition to regular driving pay, each driver will receive one (1) additional hour of pay per week during the work year (excluding winter break and spring break) for keeping his/her assigned vehicle clean and maintained. Failure of the driver to maintain his/her vehicle in a clean and orderly condition will result in forfeiture of the additional hour of pay. However, before any pay is forfeited, the transportation supervisor will clearly communicate and if necessary, demonstrate the expected standard. Upon the first instance, the driver will be given an opportunity to clean the bus correctly and be paid as usual. D. The school district will provide and maintain a wash bay for cleaning of buses. Drivers will spray down the floor of the wash bay after each use. E. Working hours may vary. Occasionally, drivers may be required to start work earlier due to inclement weather or other unique circumstances. In any event, the supervisor shall notify drivers of any changes in the work schedule as soon as possible. Regular drivers will be required to cover scheduled half-day runs if the runs are known three weeks in advance unless leave from the assignment has been requested and granted in advance. Drivers are expected to arrange their personal appointment schedules to accommodate the need to have the work schedule covered by the regular driver. F. For payroll purposes, the work week shall begin on Friday at 12:01 a.m. and shall end on Thursday at 12:00 midnight. Drivers’ regular work days shall be Monday through Friday. WORKING RULES AND REGULATIONS. SECTION 1 All copies or written working rules and written directives of the Town affecting the working conditions of the employees shall be provided to the Union by the Town when requested. SECTION 2 There shall be no discrimination, coercion or intimidation on account of marital status, age, race, creed, color, sex, religious beliefs or Union activity, either by the Town or the Union.
WORKING RULES AND REGULATIONS. Rules and regulations for the conduct of the business such as the Employer shall consider necessary and proper, which do not conflict with the terms of this Agreement, shall be observed by all employees. New rules and/or rule changes in existing rules shall not become effective until fifteen (15) working days after they have been posted, with a copy forwarded to the Union. Such rules and regulations shall be posted in a conspicuous place by the Employer, or they may be issued to employees in the form of a manual.
WORKING RULES AND REGULATIONS. A. When a vacancy occurs or a new position is created, employees within the bargaining unit will be given the first opportunity to apply for such position, provided the bargaining unit member is qualified. B. Cafeteria employees shall receive straight salary after twenty-seven and one half (27 ½) hours of work in any given week. In the event that the kitchen is utilized outside the regular school day, an employee from the cafeteria kitchen staff will be present and will receive a minimum of two (2) hours of his/her regular hourly rate of pay. C. All overtime must have prior approval of the administration, unless an extreme emergency arises requiring immediate correction. Overtime shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times an employee's regular rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one given week. D. Bargaining Unit employees who agree to provide services for extra-curricular activities approved by the Board of Education shall be compensated by the District. E. Teacher Aides, School Monitors, bus drivers, cafeteria employees and clerical employees are not required to report for duty when school is closed due to bad road conditions. Custodial employees are expected to report for duty and be on the job as soon as weather or roads permit when school is closed for weather conditions. Hourly employees will be paid for snow days (not to exceed four (4) days per year). Custodial staff required to work snow days will be provided an additional personal leave day for every (2) snow days worked up to a maximum of two (2) personal leave days per school year. Those employees assigned to a night shift who seek permission to leave employment prior to the end of their shift due to extreme, inclement weather shall follow the administrative chain-of-command to receive such permission by phone. If, after following the chain-of-command, the employee cannot make contact with anyone, he/she shall exercise reasonable judgment on how to proceed and report same to the administration on the following day. Those who leave early due to these conditions shall suffer no loss of pay in accordance with these administrative procedures.

  • PARKING RULES AND REGULATIONS The following rules and regulations govern the use of the parking facilities which serve the Building. Tenant will be bound by such rules and regulations and agrees to cause its employees, subtenants, assignees, contractors, suppliers, customers and invitees to observe the same: 1. Tenant will not permit or allow any vehicles that belong to or are controlled by Tenant or Tenant’s employees, subtenants, customers or invitees to be loaded, unloaded or parked in areas other than those designated by Landlord for such activities. No vehicles are to be left in the parking areas overnight and no vehicles are to be parked in the parking areas other than normally sized passenger automobiles, motorcycles and pick-up trucks. No extended term storage of vehicles is permitted. 2. Vehicles must be parked entirely within painted stall lines of a single parking stall. 3. All directional signs and arrows must be observed. 4. The speed limit within all parking areas shall be five (5) miles per hour. 5. Parking is prohibited: (a) in areas not striped for parking; (b) in aisles or on ramps; (c) where “no parking” signs are posted; (d) in cross-hatched areas; and (e) in such other areas as may be designated from time to time by Landlord or Landlord’s parking operator. 6. Landlord reserves the right, without cost or liability to Landlord, to tow any vehicle if such vehicle’s audio theft alarm system remains engaged for an unreasonable period of time. 7. Washing, waxing, cleaning or servicing of any vehicle in any area not specifically reserved for such purpose is prohibited. 8. Landlord may refuse to permit any person to park in the parking facilities who violates these rules with unreasonable frequency, and any violation of these rules shall subject the violator’s car to removal, at such car owner’s expense. Tenant agrees to use its best efforts to acquaint its employees, subtenants, assignees, contractors, suppliers, customers and invitees with these parking provisions, rules and regulations. 9. Parking stickers, access cards, or any other device or form of identification supplied by Landlord as a condition of use of the parking facilities shall remain the property of Landlord. Parking identification devices, if utilized by Landlord, must be displayed as requested and may not be mutilated in any manner. The serial number of the parking identification device may not be obliterated. Parking identification devices, if any, are not transferable and any device in the possession of an unauthorized holder will be void. Landlord reserves the right to refuse the sale of monthly stickers or other parking identification devices to Tenant or any of its agents, employees or representatives who willfully refuse to comply with these rules and regulations and all unposted city, state or federal ordinances, laws or agreements. 10. Loss or theft of parking identification devices or access cards must be reported to the management office in the Development immediately, and a lost or stolen report must be filed by the Tenant or user of such parking identification device or access card at the time. Landlord has the right to exclude any vehicle from the parking facilities that does not have a parking identification device or valid access card. Any parking identification device or access card which is reported lost or stolen and which is subsequently found in the possession of an unauthorized person will be confiscated and the illegal holder will be subject to prosecution. 11. All damage or loss claimed to be the responsibility of Landlord must be reported, itemized in writing and delivered to the management office located within the Development within ten (10) business days after any claimed damage or loss occurs. Any claim not so made is waived. Landlord is not responsible for damage by water or fire, or for the acts or omissions of others, or for articles left in vehicles. In any event, the total liability of Landlord, if any, is limited to Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for all damages or loss to any car. Landlord is not responsible for loss of use.

  • BUILDING RULES AND REGULATIONS The following rules and regulations shall apply, where applicable, to the Premises, the Building, the parking facilities (if any), the Property and the appurtenances. In the event of a conflict between the following rules and regulations and the remainder of the terms of the Lease, the remainder of the terms of the Lease shall control. Capitalized terms have the same meaning as defined in the Lease.

  • WORKING RULES B6.1 Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Employer shall determine the number of employees required. B6.2 There shall be no inequitable minimum or maximum amount of work which an employee may be required to perform during the working day, and there shall be no restrictions imposed against the use of any type of machinery tools, or labour saving devices. B6.3 At the discretion of the Employer, employees may be changed from one classification to another within the jurisdiction of the Union provided that the employee is capable and qualified to perform the work. No employee's hourly rate shall be lowered during the shift under these provisions, and if an employee is assigned to work calling for a higher rate of pay he shall receive such higher rate of pay for the full shift. B6.4 Subject to the employee being capable and qualified to perform the work, no employee's hourly rate shall be lowered under these provisions, and if an employee is assigned to work calling for a higher rate of pay he shall receive such higher rate of pay for the full day. During emergencies, any employee of the Employer may be assigned to any work, provided, however, that no employee's hourly rate shall be lowered under this provision, and provided further that in the event an employee is assigned to work called for a higher rate of pay, he shall receive such higher rate for the full day. B6.5 The Employer shall make arrangements in each locality where employees are employed to enable such employees to cash their pay cheques or, where it is impracticable to do so, will provide any employee within twenty-four (24) hours written request with a cheque in the equivalent of subsistence allowance payable. Where camps are provided in remote areas devoid of normal banking facilities, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide cheque cashing facilities, it being understood that where it is impracticable to do so, suitable substitute provisions shall be agreed at the Pre-job Conference. All cheques to be negotiable at par. B6.6 On jobs where camps are provided the Employer shall insure the personal effects of each employee against loss by fire in an amount not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) provided an inventory of such personal effects is filed with the Employer. B6.7 The Employer shall provide gloves and coveralls to each employee who normally comes in contact with hot dope. In the event that an employee does not return the foregoing items supplied to him by the Employer, the Employer shall charge the cost of same to the employee and deduct this cost from any money owing to the employee.

  • RULES AND REGULATIONS Xxxxxx agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. Beds should be stripped of linens and placed in a pile in each bedroom for housekeeping.
