Commissioning and Startup Activities. System Safety Program Plan – The System Safety Program Plan is a governing document developed to address system safety and meet the requirements of 49 CFR Part 659, American Public Transportation Association guidelines, Federal Railroad Administration requirements and Federal Transit Administration guidelines. The System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) will be included as part of the training program for select Operations employees and Safety and Environmental employees. The SSPP is a controlled document that will be distributed to individuals responsible for understanding and implementing the Plan. These individuals shall demonstrate receipt and an understanding of the SSPP by signing the SSPP verification and acknowledgement form.  The SSPP is a comprehensive document applied on a system wide basis beginning with system design and carrying through the systems’ life cycle. Development and implementation of the SSPP is initiated through COTPA’s head of safety and security.  There are several goals associated with the SSPP. Primarily, the SSPP is intended to identify, eliminate, minimize and/or control safety hazards and their risk through effective management policies and procedures applied by all COTPA departments and contractors at every level of employment. This Plan describes safety requirements, lines of authority, levels of responsibility and accountability and methods of documentation throughout the document. Additional goals are listed below: - Ensure that all customers perceive the system is safe and secure by maintaining a high level of safety comparable to other transit systems as measured by maintaining a good safety record and by maintaining the visual aspects of the system in good repair - Establish and maintain integrated safety polices regarding occupational and construction safety - Develop and implement standard operating procedures, equipment and right-of-way maintenance standards, employee rule books, and emergency agency response program - Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements (49 CFR Part 659 – State Oversight of Fixed Rail Guideways, Federal Railroad Administration requirements, Public Utilities Commission, DOT and local fire and building codes)  Draw information from system observation, local and state codes, federal guidelines, and specific COTPA requirements into a unified document to ensure a safe transportation system. - Review assigned Safety and Security Certification (SSC) responsibilities and committe...

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least thirty (30) days written notice to the SLDC and GUVNL, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.

  • Synchronisation Commissioning and Commercial Operation 8.1 The Developer shall provide at least forty (40) days advanced preliminary written notice and at least twenty (20) days advanced final written notice to ESCOM of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Connecting Transmission Owner will design, construct, own, operate and maintain all Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities, except as otherwise stated above and in the Project Specific Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner will complete all engineering reviews, field verifications and witness testing, etc. in accordance with the ESBs and the Project Specific Specifications. Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the revenue metering CT/PT units and meter socket enclosure. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall:  provide, run, and wire both ends of the color-coded cable for the revenue metering instrument transformer secondary wiring;  perform all terminations; and  supply and install the meter. The revenue meter may require a communications link to the RTU. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run those communications cables. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete all wiring, testing and commissioning of the RTU.

  • Installation, Maintenance, Testing and Repair Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, to the extent required by Applicable Law, Interconnection provided by a Party shall be equal in quality to that provided by such Party to itself, any subsidiary, affiliates or third party. If either Party is unable to fulfill its obligations under this Section 14.2, it shall notify the other Party of its inability to do so and will negotiate alternative intervals in good faith. The Parties agree that to the extent required by Applicable Law, the standards to be used by a Party for isolating and clearing any disconnections and/or other outages or troubles shall be at parity with standards used by such Party with respect to itself, any subsidiary, affiliate or third party.
