Health and Safety Measures. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, nothing herein shall be construed to limit City’s general police power to implement, based upon appropriate and adequate findings, specific measures necessary to alleviate legitimate and bona fide harmful and noxious uses, or protect against real, actual, and dangerous threats to the health and safety of City residents, in which event any rule, regulation or policy imposed on the development of the Property shall be done to the minimum extent necessary to correct such bona fide harmful and noxious uses or protect against any such real, actual and dangerous threats to the health and safety of City residents.

b. Repair or replace vent systems on fossil-fuel-fired heating systems and water heaters to ensure that combustion gasses draft safely to outside
c. Install mechanical ventilation, in a manner not visible from the public right of way, to ensure adequate indoor air quality if house is air-sealed to building tightness limit
A. Category 1 - No Consultation Required
1. General efficiency measures not affecting the exterior of the building:
a. Energy audits and feasibility studies
b. Weatherization of mobile homes and trailers
c. Caulking and weather-stripping around doors and windows in a manner that does not harm or obscure historic windows or trim.
d. Water conservation measures – like low flow faucets, toilets, shower heads, urinals – and distribution device controls
e. Repairing or replacing in kind existing driveways, parking areas, and walkways with materials of similar appearance
f. Excavating to gain access to existing underground utilities to repair or replace them, provided that the work is performed consistent with previous conditions
g. Ventilating crawl spaces
h. Replacement of existing HVAC equipment including pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, package units, condensers, compressors, heat exchangers that do not require a change to existing ducting, plumbing, electrical, controls or a new location, or if ducting, plumbing, electrical and controls are on the rear of the structure or not visible from any public right of way.
i. Adding or replacing existing building controls systems including HVAC control systems and the replacement of building-wide pneumatic controls with digital controls, thermostats, dampers, and other individual sensors like smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors (wired or non-wired)
j. New installation of non-hard wired devices including photo-controls, occupancy sensors, carbon dioxide, thermostats, humidity, light meters and other building control sensors, provided the work conforms with applicable state and local permitting requirements
k. Adding variable speed drive motors
l. Insulation of water heater tanks and pipes
m. Furnace or hot water tank replacement that does not require a visible new supply or venting
2. Insulation measures not affecting the exterior of the building:
a. Thermal insulation installation in walls, floors and ceilings (excluding spray foam insulation)

Health and Safety Measures. The Contractor will confirm to all health and safety regulations of the States of Oregon and Washington and all Federal Safety regulations, applicable to work covered by this Agreement and shall have adequate shelters available on all projects, with heat, where the men can change and dry their clothes. On all projects covered by this Agreement, there shall be provided by the Contractor, at all times during the construction, sanitary facilities consisting of a reasonable number of toilets and urinals. The absence of sewers at the site shall not release the Contractors from compliance with this provision. Xxxxx Tenders shall not be required to work on portions of any construction job that are declared unsafe by a State Safety Inspector.
Health and Safety Measures. Employees working in an unsanitary or dangerous job shall be supplied with all the necessary tools, safety equipment and protective clothing.

Health and Safety Measures. Section 1. Health laws and safety measures of City, State, and OSHA shall be strictly observed, and employees shall not be discriminated against for calling attention to violations.
(a) All scaffolds shall be erected to conform with the applicable state Safety Code and OSHA.
(b) The Contractor is required to furnish a dressing room with heat on all jobs when practical.
(c) On inside jobs where gasoline plastering machines are used, necessary precautions must be taken to prevent exhaust fumes.
(d) No employee will work where open salamanders, gasoline oil, or any type of "drying out" equipment is used, that is injurious to the health of employees.
(e) Nozzle technicians on plastering machines and marble dash guns shall be provided with filter masks approved by the applicable state.
Health and Safety Measures.
23.01 The Union and the Employer shall co-operate in making every reasonable provision for the health and safety of employees. It is in the mutual interest of the Union and the Employer to promote health and safety in the workplace and to prevent the occurrence of workplace injuries. The parties agree that employees have the right to a safe and healthy environment and agree to mutually promote health and safety.
23.02 Both parties agree to abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations as amended. The Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will be structured as indicated in the Terms of Reference for this Committee.
23.03 Any employee required to work under dangerous conditions shall be supplied with suitable safety equipment to meet the conditions.
23.04 An employee who is injured during working hours and is required to leave for treatment or is sent home for such injury, shall receive payment for the remainder of the shift at their regular rate of pay without deduction from sick leave, provided that a Doctor or Nurse states in writing to the Employer that the employee is unfit for further work on that shift.
Health and Safety Measures. The Contractor shall observe and comply with all applicable federal, state and local health and safety laws and regulations. The Contractor shall ensure that proper health and safety measures are performed and enforced at all times for the traveling public, agents and representatives of the Authority and the Contractor and Subcontractor employees. The Contractor must have and properly utilize safety equipment for all work on the toll roads. Safety equipment must meet all safety laws and regulations and be in sufficient condition to perform properly and provide the safety it was intended to provide.
Health and Safety Measures a. In this paragraph 3:
i. COVID-19 means the disease known as Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2, being a Public Health Emergency of International Concern characterised as a pandemic by the World Health Organization on 11 March 2020 and resulting in orders by NSW Health under the Public Health Act (NSW) 2010 including the Order.
ii. COVID-19 Safety Plan means the specific safety plan for your business or Permitted Use (if any) or the general COVID-19 Safety Plan provided on the NSW Government website at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/covid-19/business/safety-plans, which sets out health and safety measures at the Venue including hygiene and public safety, physical distancing and crowd control measures, staff wellbeing, vaccination rules, recording contact details of all persons attending the Venue during the Booking Period, cleaning, record keeping and information exchange for the Hirer and the Hirer’s Employees and any other measures required under the Order or recommended from time to time.
iii. Order means one or more orders (as amended from time to time) to control and manage COVID-19 or impose requirements in relation to COVID-19– at the date of the Agreement being:
b. The Hirer is the “occupier of the Premises” for the purposes of the Order and must (and must, as applicable, ensure that all its invitees, attendees, employees, agents, volunteers and contractors who attend the Premises) comply the any Order and NSW government guidance applicable during the Booking Period.
c. The Hirer must include details of its general COVID-19 health and safety measures at the Venue during the Booking Period in the risk management plan referred to in paragraph 2.a of these Special Conditions.
d. The Hirer must continue to review current NSW Health guidance and Orders before the Start Date, as they apply to the Hirer’s approved use of the Venue, including in relation to vaccination rules including obtaining vaccination evidence of relevant persons prior to entry to the Venue (refer xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/covid-19/vaccination/requirements-for-workers), physical distancing, square metre rules, ventilation, record keeping and self-isolation and quarantine.
e. If the Order is amended during the Term and requires a COVID-19 Safety Plan or other matters in relation to the Permitted Use , the Venue or this Agreement:

Health and Safety Measures. 8.1 SHS Suppliers will strictly follow the SOP’s which are determined by Government of Sindh as well as WB guidelines from time to time during COVID-19 pandemic. Preventive measures against COVID-19 ensuring supply essential goods in the times of COVID 19 outbreak individual precautions employees working in fields should strictly follow the preventive measures by: • Using alcohol-based (70 percent) sanitizer or wipes; • Wearing a face mask to cover the mouth and nose at all times during field visits or interaction with any members of the public or prospective clients; • Covering cough or sneeze with tissue or a shoulder or elbow; • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth; • Check temperature with contactless thermometer; • Maintain social distance (6 feet); • Repeated and diligent hand washing of at least 20 seconds after every hour; • Clothes of the workers/staff and management shall be frequently disinfected, especially following contact with any frequently-touched surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, machines, handrails, drinking fountains, computers, telephones, fax machines keyboards, etc; • Keeping up-to-date on the latest information on COVID-19 (Federal & provincial government health websites, WHO etc.); • Seeking the assistance of health care professionals if any worker/staff starts to feel unwell and avoid contact with others when unwell. Workers/staff should not attend work while unwell.
