Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance. The benefits within the Medical/Dental/Vision plan shall be those described in the current Comprehensive Group Benefit Plan except as modified by changes accepted by both parties. See Section G 3, INSURANCE COMMITTEE, in this Contractual Agreement. The Board agrees to modify the Comprehensive Group Benefits Plan booklet to reflect the changes. Insurance coverage shall extend through summer to the first day of Fall Semester for all Faculty Members and their dependents (to include domestic partners) covered by this Contractual Agreement during the preceding Spring Semester. A Medical/Dental/Vision insurance plan will be provided for Faculty and their eligible dependents with a Faculty Member contribution of twenty percent (20%) of the actual premiums for the plans and options chosen by the Faculty Member (effective upon ratification of this Agreement). Prior to the beginning of each insurance plan year, the Board will make available to the Faculty Association the premium calculations and supporting documentation used in determining member contributions in each respective year. The PPO Premier Plan will only be available to unit members who have elected this medical plan prior to January 1, 2013. Should the insurance premiums for any of the health insurance plans offered by the College increase by more than ten percent (10%) over the prior year, the Insurance Advisory Committee will meet to discuss potential plan design change recommendations to reduce the premium. If the Insurance Advisory Committee chooses to recommend changes, they must be approved by a majority vote of the Insurance Advisory Committee which will then be forwarded to the Faculty Senate for review. If the Faculty Senate does not agree with recommended changes, they may offer an alternative recommendation within ten
Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance. During the Term, the Board will pay, as applicable, the full premium costs for medical, dental and vision insurance coverage for Interim Superintendent and his spouse under any plan approved for other professional employees of the Board, as such plans may be amended, supplemented, updated, replaced or terminated from time to time.
Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance. The District will provide a medical, vision and dental insurance plan for teachers. Any participation requirement of the carrier must be complied with. Teachers working .5 FTE to .74 FTE will receive 50% of the District Benefit toward coverage. Teachers working .75 FTE or over will receive 100% of the District Benefit toward coverage. The District will pay $1485 monthly during the first year of the contract, $1520 in the second year and $1555 in the third year of the contract towards Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance premiums. In addition, members will each receive $35 a month for each month retro to September (October Premiums) 2022 for their insurance increase missed prior to the 2022‐2023 agreement being put in place. This will be paid in a lump sum added to the April payroll check.
Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance. The City agrees to offer two Health plans from which employees may choose; The Kaiser Plan or the Regence Blue Cross High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account (HSA)). Kaiser participants will not be eligible for the HSA account. The City’s contribution for eligible employees and their eligible dependents (as defined by the Plan Administrator) shall be 85% of the monthly premiums for City-offered health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), plus the Health Savings Account contribution for Regence Blue Cross participants only as outlined below. Employees are eligible to enroll in the City-offered health insurance if the employee is regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. For part-time employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week, the City’s contribution to the HSA and the medical plan premiums shall be prorated based on the budgeted FTE of the position. Funding for all employees enrolled in the Regence Blue Cross High Deductible Plan to the employee's HSA account will be 100% of the deductible. Employees eligible to receive City contributions to their HSA account, will receive payments from the City on a bimonthly basis on schedule with the employee's pay period. The amount of the bimonthly contribution will equal the deductible total, based on the employee's health plan level, divided by twenty-four (24) pay periods over the year. As with the employee health coverage premium, there will be two (2) pay periods annually for which no contributions will be made. All employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are required to participate in the health insurance program unless the employee can prove they have attained medical insurance coverage via an alternative means. In which case, employees may opt out of the Plan and receive a $50.00/month incentive from the City. In order for the City to offer the opt out, the following must apply:

Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance. The District shall contribute the state insurance contribution per bargaining unit teacher on an FTE basis toward a teacher insurance pool. Each teacher's insurance needs shall be paid from the pool for medical, dental and vision coverage with the dental premium being paid first. The District shall contribute the state allocated amount of the health care authority costs on a FTE basis for the 2012-13 school year toward the teacher insurance pool. Costs in excess of the pool shall be borne by the individually affected teacher(s) and will be deducted from the payroll check. Those teachers who are employed less than full time shall have the option to enroll in all insurance programs. However, such teachers will be required to pay any excess costs for such insurance programs, which are in excess of their prorated benefits. All teachers, as a minimum, must enroll in the dental and vision insurance program. Health Insurance information is pending final analysis by the State. The District and Association agree to jointly determine which plans will be offered to staff. EXTRA PROFESSIONAL/NONPROFESSIONAL DUTIES Any extra-professional or nonprofessional duty must have prior approval of the building principal. The District, at its discretion, may use community adult volunteers to perform such non- professional duties as ticket taking, collecting admission to events, operating scoreboards, chaperoning, announcing, and other non-professional activities designated by the superintendent. EXTRA PROFESSIONAL DUTIES: Extra-professional duties shall be defined as those duties performed outside of the regular school day which requires a teaching certificate of those persons performing them. Teachers who substitute during their prep period will be compensated at the extra professional duty rate. All certificated staff members who perform extra-professional duties shall be compensated at the current daily rate of substitute teacher pay divided by seven per hour.
