Sick Leave Donation Policy Sample Clauses

A Sick Leave Donation Policy allows employees to voluntarily transfer a portion of their accrued sick leave to coworkers who have exhausted their own leave due to serious illness or emergencies. Typically, the policy outlines eligibility criteria for both donors and recipients, sets limits on the amount of leave that can be donated or received, and describes the process for requesting and approving donations. This clause helps provide financial and job security to employees facing extended medical hardships, fostering a supportive workplace culture and addressing gaps in individual leave balances.
