Sick Leave For Part-Time Employees. Each part-time employee will be given one (1) day at 66.667%, effective January 1, 2017 at seventy-five percent (75%), of regular pay for pre-scheduled shifts missed as a result of sickness during the first three (3) days of such sickness commencing January 1st of each year, provided the employee has completed probation and fully co-operates regarding rules for approval and in providing the Home with proof of such sickness. It is understood that there is no carry forward of such sick leave and that any misuse of such benefit shall result in disciplinary action and will disqualify an employee from payment.
