VACATIONS PAY. No later than December of each year, the Employer shall post a vacation list or lists on the bulletin board and each employee shall, in order of seniority, apply for his vacation on such list at a time same is desired and such request must be completed by February of each year. After February of each year following the selection of one (Iw)eek vacation blocks, vacation may be requested in one day blocks in Alberta. It is the Employer's responsibilityto ensure that employees sign up for vacations in an expedient manner and eliminate any delays on the part of any employee in exercising his entitlement for vacation selection. No employee be by-passed without two (2) working days notice in writing from the Employer. Once established, the vacation schedule shall not be changed unless mutually agreed and open periods are available. VACATIONS PAY. ‌ Cultural Assistants receive four percent (4%) vacation pay unless arrangements are made at the time of appointment to take vacation with pay pro-rated on the basis of an annual full-time vacation entitlement of two weeks.

VACATIONS PAY. An employee entitled under Section 6.04 Vacations: Amount will be paid for vacation at the employee's regular compensation rate. An employee may choose to sell back up to seventy (70) vacation hours. Such selection must be made in writing by the employee to the Human Resources Office no later than November first (1st). If November 1st is a weekend or a day that is not open to normal business hours, such selection must be made by close of business of the Human Resources Office on the last business day prior to November 1st. The Human Resources office will send out notification to all employees of the deadline at least two (2) weeks in advance. Payment will be made in the final pay check of the calendar year.
