HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SECURITY. D10.1 The Contractor shall notify DCLG if the Services are hazardous to health or safety and of the precautions that should be taken in respect thereto. D10.2 DCLG shall notify the Contractor of any special health and safety hazards which DCLG becomes aware of in relation to the Premises, where the Premises are provided by or on behalf of DCLG, which may affect the Contractor’s performance of the Services. If DCLG notifies the Contractor of any special health and safety hazards the Contractor shall draw any such hazards to the attention of the Contractor’s Personnel. D10.3 The Contractor shall be responsible for the observance by itself and the Contractor’s Personnel of all such rules, site regulations, policies, procedures, requirements (including those relating to security arrangements) and safety precautions necessary for the protection of itself and the Contractor’s Personnel and any other persons including all precautions required to be taken by or under all applicable laws, enactments, orders, regulations, other similar instruments and codes of practice. The Contractor and the Contractor’s Personnel shall co-operate fully with DCLG to ensure the proper discharge of these duties. D10.4 Where the Premises are provided by or on behalf of the Contractor DCLG shall be entitled to inspect the Premises to ensure they are appropriate for the provision of the Services. D10.5 Accidents to the Contractor’s Personnel at the Premises which ordinarily are required to be reported in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 shall be reported immediately to DCLG’s Contract Manager. D10.6 DCLG may undertake security and/or identity checks on any of the Contractor’s Personnel requiring unescorted access to DCLG’s Premises or IT network. The Contractor and the Contractor’s Personnel must comply with DCLG’s arrangements for undertaking security and identity checks.

HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SECURITY. 13.1 The Supplier shall ensure so far as is reasonably practicable that the health and safety of any; (a) Workers involved in carrying out the Deliverables; (b) Workers whose activities in carrying out the Deliverables are influenced or directed by the Supplier; and (c) other person, is not put at risk from carrying out the Deliverables. 13.2 When visiting any of Watercare’s sites the Supplier will ensure that its Workers abide and cooperate with all health, safety, security and operational requirements of Watercare. The Supplier shall ensure that its Workers advise Watercare of any known hazards in relation to the Goods and/or Services prior to or at the time of Delivery of the Deliverables. 13.3 In the event that Watercare discovers an unsafe practice or a breach of this clause 13, then in addition to any other rights under this Agreement, Watercare may immediately suspend the work associated with the unsafe practice or breach. The suspension will not be lifted until the work area is made safe, the unsafe practice removed, or the breach rectified. All costs of the suspension shall be borne by the Supplier. 13.4 If the Supplier does not rectify the breach or unsafe practice as described in clause 13.3, then Watercare may terminate this Agreement immediately. 13.5 The Supplier will immediately notify Watercare of any accident, injury or illness, near miss, or exposure the Supplier becomes aware of in the course of providing the Deliverables and provide Watercare with such assistance as Watercare may require to investigate such incident (including, without limitation, using reasonable endeavours to procure all Workers to provide any information requested by Watercare). 13.6 The supplier will immediately notify Watercare of any visits or inspections by WorkSafe New Zealand in relation to the activities of the Supplier, its Workers, or conditions at any workplace where Services have been, are, or will be undertaken. The Supplier must provide details (and copies of any relevant documentation) to Watercare in respect of any engagement with WorkSafe New Zealand as a consequence of a visit or inspection.

The Service Provider's Employees shall comply with the safety, health and environment and security requirements and regulations of Transnet as per Attachment I, as amended from time to time. 37.6.2. The Service Provider's Employees shall be required to undergo safety induction programmes provided and undertaken by Transnet, where applicable. Costs associated with attendance at such induction programmes, (for example, travel costs, time spent, etc.) shall be at the expense of the Service Provider and the Service Provider will not xxxx Transnet for the attendance of such Employees. 37.6.3. The Service Provider's Employees shall, as soon as is reasonably possible after discovery, report all unsafe acts, injuries and conditions to the safety officer of Transnet, who shall then inform the Service Provider accordingly. 37.6.4. The safety officer of Transnet will be available for consultation on any safety related matter and will make periodic visits to the site where work is being performed. 37.6.5. The Service Provider shall insure Employees against injury at work and further ensure that the Employees are fully covered as is required by the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act 130 of 1993 (the “COIDA”). Documentary proof of such cover shall be made available to Transnet upon request. 37.6.6. Transnet has the right to refuse admittance to, or to remove from its premises any Employee of the Service Provider whose presence has a material adverse effect on the performance by Transnet of its statutory duties or which poses a threat to the health and safety of other people.
HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SECURITY. 7.1 The Operator must comply with its obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other current health and safety legislation and Laws. The Operator is required to establish a current Safety Policy Statement and prominently display it within the Operator’s premises, and send a copy of it to the Director of Safety of LCAJC, or equivalent individual(s) within LCAJC. 7.2 The Operator must appoint a Safety Representative who will manage and co-ordinate all safety related issues on its behalf, including ensuring that business activities are conducted safely at all times, and that staff have sufficient safety training and awareness relating to the activities being undertaken. The Operator shall notify the name of its Safety Representative to LCAJC. 7.3 The Operator will provide its written plans for dealing with emergencies to LCAJC (including public relations, crisis management and disabled Aircraft recovery plans together with details of emergency contact telephone numbers) and will provide any updates or amended plans as and when the updates or amendments are made. 7.4 The Operator is required to undertake a formal risk assessment of the activities undertaken by it at the Airport, its allocated premises and work areas, and equipment and systems in use, at suitably regular monthly intervals and in the event of any incident/accident at the Airport as declared by LCAJC, notify LCAJC without delay and/or with LCA's Director of Safety. The significant findings must be recorded and held pending improvement action where this is reasonably necessary, and the Operator undertakes to ensure that such action is carried out. LCAJC shall require routine audits of the Operator’s safety systems from time to time and the Operator must co-operate with LCAJC in this respect. The Operator will have the ability to undertake operational audits of LCAJC’s safety systems from time to time and the LCAJC must co-operate with the Operator in this respect. 7.5 Any safety or security issues arising that have an impact on other users of the Airport and/or the Airport must be immediately raised with LCA's Director of Safety (including those arising in risk assessments carried out in accordance with Clause 7.4). Where common safety responsibilities are identified the Operator shall co- ordinate its activities with the Airport and other users of the Airport to ensure a safe place of work for staff, public, contractors and others using the Airport. 7.6 The Operator shall be...
