Local Time Off. CAMH will grant a leave of absence without loss of seniority or service for the term of this Agreement to the Local Union President or designate. CAMH shall grant an additional release for one (1) additional Local Officer for the purpose of assisting employees and the Union Local in the administration of this Agreement and the business directly pertinent thereto, if requested by the Union. The leave will be without loss of wages, benefits, seniority or service. The Union Local will reimburse CAMH for one hundred percent (100%) of the costs.

Local Time Off. The Employer agrees to provide paid time off for the Local President/Unit Xxxxxxx or designee for the purpose of conducting Union business related to the implementation and administration of the Collective Agreement. The Employer will pay up to four (4) hours per month. This time may not be carried over beyond the month in which it is allocated. For greater clarity, the purpose of this Presidential/Unit Xxxxxxx leave is to conduct the affairs of the Local other than those that are covered elsewhere in this Collective Agreement.
Local Time Off. (a) The Employer shall grant for two (2), Local Officers, the Union President and Chief Xxxxxxx or designate, the release of one (1) full shift off with pay for each pay period without loss of credits for the purpose of conducting the internal affairs of the Local. (b) The Hospital agrees to retain either the bargaining unit President of Local 152 or the Chief Xxxxxxx of the Bargaining Unit at work during any layoff or cutback in employment during their respective term of office.

The scheduled shifts of workers on the bargaining team to coincide with scheduled dates during the bargaining process including caucus/preparation/ratification meetings will be adjusted. Bearing the drama of lay-offs, re-deployment, staff shortages, laundry closure, patient program losses and last but not least the implementation of MEDITECH, staff have risen to the challenge of these changes. The pursuit of “Excellence” does not come without sacrifice. On the first week of March 2010, staff, patients and their families were devastated to find out that 40 frontline positions were being cut, laundry services outsourced, transportation services limited and patient programs once again affected. Although a number of the affected employees were able to fill vacancies and some to surrender to the recall list, laundry and linen staff were redeployed to housekeeping while three full-time staff and a seamstress continue in linen services. Hours for the part-time staff are expected to be significantly reduced. Skill mixes have changed in Forensics and Patient Care Attendants have been erased from areas of the program. Dual Diagnosis Services has also seen changes to the skill mix. Beacon House Oshawa closed its doors to patient programs followed by Challenging Directions in Whitby. Transportation services for patients provided by the corporation were cut with the loss of two full-time driving positions, however, service for corporate travel and errands is still provided. Local Time Off. The local Union president or designee shall be entitled up to 900 hours of local Union Business Leave for every 12 months, with no loss of credits, salary, seniority or benefits, or any other form of remuneration. The Employer agrees that during such leave of absence, the Nurse’s salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits.

Local Time Off. Either the president of a local, who is an employee of the Agency, or his or her designee shall be granted a leave of absence with pay and no loss of credits to conduct the internal affairs of the local on the following basis: (a) only the local president or his or her designee shall be granted such leave; (b) the leave, which shall not include any travel time, shall be for a single period of not more than four (4) hours every two (2) weeks, and unused leave shall not be cumulative; (c) the leave shall, to the extent possible, be taken at the same time on the same day every two (2) weeks, as pre-arranged between the local president and his or her supervisor; and (d) the local president or his or her designee shall not, during his or her period of leave, engage any other employee during that employee’s working hours, or interfere in any manner with the conduct of the Employer’s business, or use any of the Employer’s equipment or other resources; A list of the name, employee ID number, and work location of every local president, together with the total number of employees in each president’s local, shall be sent to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The Union shall provide updated lists as changes are made, and shall provide a master list to the Chief Human Resources Officer at least annually.

It is understood that the intent of Article 8.02 is as follows: - The employer shall pay the full cost of only one position, the Union President or designate (annual salary at straight-time including vacation and benefits) to be released from their full-time normal work to perform the duties required by Local 331. - The Union shall pay the full cost of an additional member to be released from their full-time normal work to perform the duties required by Local 331. It is understood that due to the course of activity in the Union, the members designated throughout the term of this Collective Agreement may change. However, the employer will only pay the full cost of the Union President or whoever is acting as the Union President at any one time. The Union agrees to give fourteen (14) days notice of any changes to either of the members working full-time.

Related to Local Time Off

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity. Accordingly, time off may be taken with the consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. In considering the approval to have time off, the Parties will have regard to the current works programme and the urgency of the reason for time off. In the event that time off is to be taken, it will be the employee’s obligation to advise the Company in advance or as soon as practicable on the day of absence, recognising that unplanned absences can cause costly disruption to programmed works and are a major source of annoyance for the company, other employees and clients. The object of offering flexible working hours is that in return employees will take very seriously their obligation to turn up when they are expected. In view of the disruption caused by unplanned and or notified absenteeism, repeated failure to observe the protocol for time off would constitute misconduct.

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • Payday (a) Employees shall be paid biweekly. (b) The Employer shall provide each employee with a comprehensive statement accompanying each direct deposit detailing all payments, allowances and deductions.

  • Travel Time Leave provided in paragraphs A and B of this Article shall apply to and cover actual and necessary travel to and from such meetings required during normal working hours on the day of the meeting or negotiations, except that MSEA-SEIU bargaining team members traveling 100 miles or more to negotiations shall be entitled to travel time outside of days of negotiations.
