ROADWAY DESIGN AND PLANS. The project consists of designing a public road approach from the south side of SR 38 and extending South with an at-grade crossing of the existing Norfolk Southern railroad. The approach is anticipated to have a length of approximately 700 lft. The work includes design of additional turn lanes and approach improvements to SR 38 as identified in the Traffic Impact Study. The location of the approach is planned to be opposite of the east entrance to the Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. plant. The project is located in Section 7 and 8, T22N, R3W in Sheffield Township. The services to be provided include the following:

ROADWAY DESIGN AND PLANS. The proposed Riverport Parkway road improvements are approximately 2 miles of roadway improvements that will tie into the X-00 Xxxx 0 interchange improvements being designed by SCDOT. The improvements will extend northward to the existing paved section of Purrysburg Road. The roadway will mostly follow the existing dirt road alignment, but will deviate in order to avoid the USFWS property, comply with a 45-mph design speed and minimize wetland and property impacts. The road will be four lanes from the X-00 Xxxx 0 interchange and transition to two lanes either prior to or after the creek bridge. The transition location is currently being determined by a traffic study being performed by Stantec as part of the X-00 Xxxx 0 Xxxxxxx Xxxxx Services for the City of Hardeeville. The roadway design will utilize the survey performed by Xxxxxx & Xxxxxx as part of the X-00 Xxxx 0 Xxxxxxx Xxxxx contract with the City of Hardeeville. Plans will be prepared using Microstation and utilize a 22” x 36” sheet size. The following elements will be included: • Title SheetTypical SectionsRight of Way Data Sheet • Property Strip Map • Construction Notes and Details • Reference Data Sheet • Plan and Profile Sheets • Drainage Sheets (designed in Task 5) • Traffic Control Plans • Signing and Marking Plans • Bridge Plans (designed in Task 4) • Erosion Control Plans (designed in Task 5) • Utility plans (developed from Task 7) • Cross Sections The plans will reference SCDOT Standard Drawings and any non-standard (non-SCDOT) detail will be shown on a details sheet. The SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction will apply for materials and construction of all work. Special provisions will be prepared for those items of work not covered in the Standard Specifications or existing Standard Special Provisions. A total of three (3) plan set submittals are anticipated: • Preliminary plansSubmittal of plans for review by the Client and subsequently to CSX upon Client approval • 95% plans – Submittal to all permitting agencies • Final construction plans – Submittal of signed plans issued for construction The quantities will be calculated and used to develop an opinion of probable construction cost. ROADWAY DESIGN AND PLANS. 1. The CONSULTANT shall prepare preliminary plans and preliminary estimates of cost, which shall be in accordance with the accepted standards for such work and in accordance with the following documents in effect at the time the plans or reports are submitted: Chapter 7 (Plan Preparation) of the "INDOT LPA Guidance Document for Local Federal-Aid Projects” (latest revision), INDOT 4R Design Standards, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials "A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets", Indiana Department of Transportation's Standard Specifications, Road and Bridge Memoranda and Road and Bridge Design Manuals except as modified by supplemental specifications and special provisions, if any, and shall be completed to the point required to fulfill the requirements for a Public Involvement, no further work shall be done on the plans, unless and until specifically directed by the OWNER.

  • Construction Plans Tenant shall prepare final plans and specifications for the Tenant Improvements that (a) are consistent with and are logical evolutions of the Approved Schematic Plans and (b) incorporate any other Tenant-requested (and Landlord-approved) Changes (as defined below). As soon as such final plans and specifications ("Construction Plans") are completed, Tenant shall deliver the same to Landlord for Landlord's approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed. All such Construction Plans shall be submitted by Tenant to Landlord in electronic .pdf, CADD and full-size hard copy formats, and shall be approved or disapproved by Landlord within ten (10) business days after delivery to Landlord. Landlord's failure to respond within such ten (10) business day period shall be deemed approval by Landlord. If the Construction Plans are disapproved by Landlord, then Landlord shall notify Tenant in writing of its objections to such Construction Plans, and the parties shall confer and negotiate in good faith to reach agreement on the Construction Plans. Promptly after the Construction Plans are approved by Landlord and Tenant, two (2) copies of such Construction Plans shall be initialed and dated by Landlord and Tenant, and Tenant shall promptly submit such Construction Plans to all appropriate Governmental Authorities for approval. The Construction Plans so approved, and all change orders approved (to the extent required) by Landlord, are referred to herein as the "Approved Plans."
