WORK SCHEDULE-OVERTIMEARTICLE 11 Employees of the Fire Department shall be compensated on a “24 hours on/48 hours off” work schedule, divided into A, B and C shifts, with the 48 hour period between such regular Scheduled Work Days considered as off-duty time. Commencing January 1, 2021, the normal work schedule for all employees covered by this Agreement will average 48 hours per week. The normal work schedule will consist of a (21) day work cycle. Work week will be defined as Sunday at 07:00 until Sunday at 07:00 seven (7) days later. Except otherwise provided herein, Overtime shall be paid for hours worked beyond the regularly Scheduled Work Days at the Overtime Rate. In considering overtime pay, Holidays and Vacation Time, as well as all other approved time off, shall be considered as hours worked, with the exception of Sick and Compensatory Time as described below. In addition to the above, commencing January 1, 2021, each employee will be givenXxxxx Days.” The normal work week shall consist of one (1) 24 consecutive hour shift followed by 48 consecutive hours off work with an additional 24 consecutive hours off work once every three weeks so no person shall average more than 48 hours per week within said three-week period. Maximum one (1) person off per shift inclusive of vacation days, holidays, and personal days, unless approved by the Chief. In the event that an employee is called back to work for an emergency situation, for purposes of insurance coverage, compensation and payroll, the employee is considered on overtime from the time the call was received, whether or not it was the actual time the call was received with the Department, and until such time that he is released from duty by the Officer in Charge. In the event that an employee is called back for an emergency situation, whether or not such an emergency exists, the employee shall be compensated for a minimum of two (2) hours for each occurrence at the Overtime Rate. However, in the event that the call back occurs less than one (1) hour prior to his scheduled work shift or scheduled overtime shift, the employee shall be entitled to the Overtime Rate for only that period of time. If an employee is required to stay beyond his 24 hour shift due to an emergency or to cover the station, the time the employee is required to stay shall be paid at the overtime rate. WORK SCHEDULE-OVERTIME. Section 10.1 The Parties agree the work period established for employees by this Agreement shall be consistent with the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). All employees covered by this Agreement are eligible for overtime compensation. For the purpose of this Agreement, the established work periods shall be as set forth in Section 10.2, subsections A and B below. Fractional hours worked shall be rounded in accordance with the FLSA.
WORK SCHEDULE-OVERTIME. 10.1 The start of the work week will begin on Sunday at 0800 hours and end the following Sunday at 0759 hours. On a regular schedule, shift employees work 24 hour shifts followed by 48 hours off. The start time for assigned shifts is 0800 hours the day of assignment and will end 0759 the following day. The assignment hours includes all holidays the individual is assigned to work. The intent of this section is for each employee to earn their full annual salary for the year if they work every one of their regular scheduled shifts or take personal leave for their regular scheduled shifts. Each employee will be paid overtime (1.5 X the hourly salary) for all hours worked outside the employee's regularly scheduled hours. For the purpose of computing any overtime (1.5 x the hourly salary) (scheduled and unscheduled overtime) scheduled personal leave hours that are approved prior to use per article 18.3 will be considered as hours worked. Personal leave not following 18.3 and all other leave for the purpose of computing overtime will be considered as hours not worked and reduce said hours to straight time. This change to this article will automatically expire at the end date of this contract and shall not be extended with any impasse continuance and must be renegotiated to continue. 10.1. a Subject to the conditions stated below, County will follow Section 207(k) of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as codified in Sec. 553.230 of the US Department of Labor that provides a partial overtime pay exemption for fire protection personnel who are employed by public agencies. The work period/cycle shall be 7 days and coincide with work week.
WORK SCHEDULE-OVERTIME. A. The salary, normal work days, hours to be worked, days worked and schedule of work is attached in contract. The Superintendent can vary within law and policy. All building assignments, days worked, hours worked are assigned by the Superintendent. Employees shall be paid their regular rate of pay for days or parts of days when the schools in which they are employed are closed or start late (up to 3 hours) due to an epidemic or other public calamity, for up to the first five (5) days in each school year or an equivalent number of hours. This specifically supercedes R.C. 3319.081(G) and .082. The Superintendent shall determine which employees shall report on days or equivalent hours when students are not in attendance. B. (41 hours = 41 1/2 hours) Any employee who works on a Board approved legal holiday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) for all hours worked, plus the holiday, that day, if ordered to work. Work time shall only include time when the employee is actually working and holidays in paid status and not paid absence time (vacation). There shall be no pyramiding of overtime with any other premium payment, including but not limited to premium pay for working on a holiday. C. No employee is to work overtime hours without prior approval of the employee’s principal or supervisor, unless a clear emergency exists. D. Classified employees will have the ability to vote on the school calendar in an advisory capacity. The board of education will have the final vote in setting the school calendar. E. Bus drivers will be notified in writing concerning students’ bus riding status within the student privacy provisions of the law.
WORK SCHEDULE-OVERTIMESection 1. A full‐time employee is one who is routinely scheduled to work 32 to 40 hours per week on behalf of CDSOC. A part‐time employee is one who is routinely scheduled to work fewer than 32 hours per week on behalf of CDSOC. Employee work schedules will be established by the supervisor. It may be necessary for supervisors to change/adjust work schedules due to the lack of work and to accommodate the needs of the organization, children and families. Changes to normal weekly work schedules will be announced at least one week in advance, except for temporary adjustments which cannot be planned.

  • Work Schedule (A) Where an employee has an established schedule, a change in workdays or shifts will be posted no less than 14 calendar days in advance and will reflect at least a two workweek schedule; however, the state will make a good faith effort to reflect a one month schedule. (B) In the event of a declared emergency the notice requirement of this Section may be void. (C) The state will continue to observe the scheduling structures currently in place at each agency and agrees to bargain any change in the overall practice of how schedules are established.

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Project Schedule Construction must begin within 30 days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2, for the start of construction, or this Agreement may become null and void, at the sole discretion of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate construction. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in the start of construction and provide the Director with a new start of construction date. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date, providing that the Project can be completed within a reasonable time frame.

  • Alternate Work Schedule An alternate work schedule is any work schedule where an employee is regularly scheduled to work five (5) days per week, but the employee’s regularly scheduled two (2) days off are NOT Saturday and Sunday.

  • PROGRESS SCHEDULE The Contractor, within ten (10) working days of receiving notice of the award of the contract, shall prepare and submit for the State's and Architect's information an estimated progress schedule for the Work. The progress schedule shall be related to the entire Project to the extent required by the Contract Documents, and shall provide for expeditious and practicable execution of the Work.

  • SCHEDULE OF WORK FIRST PARTY’S proposed schedule for the various services required will be set forth in Exhibit A-1. In addition to services described in Section A1, the parties may from time to time agree in writing that FIRST PARTY, for additional compensation, shall perform additional services including but not limited to: • Change in the services because of changes in scope of the work. • Additional tasks not specified herein as required by the CITY.   • Contract Schedule The information set forth in the Contract Schedule is true and correct.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.
