HOURS OF WORK OVERTIME & OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS. 17:01 The working day for all employees covered by this Agreement shall consist of seven and one-half (7½) hours, excluding meal periods, which shall be continuous and uninterrupted for a period of one half (½) hour each. The provisions of this Article are intended only to provide a basis for calculating time worked and shall not constitute a guarantee of hours of work per shift or for any period. The work week shall be deemed to commence at 00:01 on Monday of each week. If an employee is authorized to work through their lunch period, they will be paid at a rate of one and one half (1½) the employee's straight time hourly rate of pay for their lunch period.

HOURS OF WORK OVERTIME & OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS. 16.01 (a) The following paragraphs are intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of employment, hours of work per day, or per week nor of days of work per week nor of overtime.
HOURS OF WORK OVERTIME & OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS a) The provisions designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the departmental schedule, shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be done on each tour or during each tour schedule. The normal and recognized hours of work shall be an average of thirty-seven andone-half (37 hours per week, consistingof seven and (7 hours per day exclusive of unpaid meal time. Where a supervisor is notifiedby an employee that the employee has been or will be unable to take the normal lunch break, such employee shall be paid time and one half his or her regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of normal daily The Hospital shall ensure each employee one (1) weekend off every three (3) weeks. Should an employee be required to work three (3) or more weekends in succession, they shall be paid at a rate of time and one-half for the third and subsequent continuingweekends until a weekend off is scheduled. The classificationof Xxxx Clerk shall be granted every weekend off and shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half for all work performed on each weekend they are scheduled to work. For the purpose of this Article, a weekend shall include both Saturday and Sunday.   • HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME 12.01 The following paragraphs and sections are intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day or per week, or of days of work per week.

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift. Forty (40) hours shall constitute a normal week's work, Monday through Friday inclusive. Variances beyond one (1) hour of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. shall be agreed mutually between the Employer and the Business Manager. If the foregoing starting or quitting times are changed without mutual agreement, applicable overtime rates shall be paid for any time worked before or after the above hours as a result of the change of the times.

  • ARTICLE HOURS OF WORK The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule. Subject to Article below:

  • Other Working Conditions Unless modified by Paragraphs 31 to 49 inclusive, all other studio working conditions shall prevail on distant location.

  • HOURS OF WORK i) Where employees are now working a longer daily tour, the provisions set out in this Article governing the regular hours of work on a daily tour shall be adjusted accordingly.

  • Consecutive Hours of Work The daily hours of work for each employee shall be consecutive.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS The District has empowered school communities to make decisions at the school level in return for accountability for results. To maximize the likelihood of success, each school must be permitted to implement programs that meet the needs of its students and community. Through a school-based decision-making process, each school will define the staff working conditions necessary for student success. School leadership teams will create and publish annual “school operational plans” which will outline working conditions of staff in the building. Such operational plans will be subject to the Superintendent’s review and approval.
