Any regular employee absent by reason of accident, sickness or vacation, shall have the opportunity to bid on such job posting or vacancy within three (3) days after he returns to work, provided he is capable. Section Seniority. (A) New employees, including employees who are rehired after a break in continuity of service with the Company, as hereinafter provided for in this section, shall, for the purpose of administering the provisions of subsection below, be regarded as probationary employees for an aggregate total of six months from the first date of employment, or from the first day of after a break in continuity of service with the Company, as the case may be. (Section continued) Failure to report to work or return to work, when laid off in accordance with the following: Any employee who is laid off shall keep the Company advised in writing of his current address, and the Company shall notify such employee, in writing, addressed to such address, when an opening is available for him in line with his seniority status.
