Classifications and Descriptions. I. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIST I Perform personal computer setup, installation, and/or post installation support duties. Duties include but are not limited to the un-boxing and setup of all hardware, installation of software, pc configuration to include network interface card and cables, delivery to and setup of equipment at the customer site, complete system and network integration testing, customer orientation to the system, diagnosis of hardware and software malfunctions, and problem resolution.
