VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. For the purpose of Section 5.02, where weeks of annual leave are mentioned, it shall mean blocks of annual leave for those members on the 6 & 3 system. Blocks will include the three days of weekly leave on each side of the six-day block.
VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. (i) Vacation entitlement for temporary members shall be in accordance with the Civilian Working Agreement. Vacation entitlement for temporary members working part-time hours shall be calculated on a pro-rated basis upon completion of equivalent full-time hours worked in a calendar year. For example:
VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 33.1 The Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay rate shall be ten (10) percent of vacationable gross earnings*. The vacation pay rate shall be six (6) percent and the statutory holiday pay rate shall be four (4) percent. Payment shall be made weekly on the employee’s regular pay cheque.

VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Members of the Service with:
(a) Less than one full year of continuous service by December 31st of a given year shall be paid four percent (4%) of their current annual earnings in lieu of vacation. Members at their option may take vacation time in lieu of payment.
(b) One (1) year but less than three (3) years of service - 80 hours of vacation with pay.
(c) Three (3) years but less than ten (10) years of service - 120 hours of vacation with pay.
(d) Ten years (10) of service but less than fifteen (15) years of service - 160 hours of vacation with pay.
(e) Fifteen (15) years of service but less than twenty (20) years of service - 200 hours of vacation with pay.
(f) Twenty (20) years of service but less than twenty five (25) years of service - 240 hours of vacation with pay.
(g) Twenty Five (25) years of service - 280 hours of vacation with pay.
(h) Effective January 1, 2011 on the first annual leave signing:
i) members who are normally required to work an 11-hour shift schedule or a 12-hour shift schedule shall be entitled to sign for a maximum of two (2) consecutive shift rotations between June 15 and September 15. After the first annual leave signing, such a member may sign for no more than one additional shift rotation between June 15 and September 15, only if that additional shift rotation is not consecutive with the shift rotations that the member has already signed for.
ii) Members who are normally required to work an 8-hour shift schedule or a 10-hour shift schedule shall be entitled to sign for a maximum of three (3) consecutive shift rotations between June 15 and September 15.
(i) Any and all additional weeks may be taken at another time at the member's option and subject to the approval of the Chief of Police.
(j) Members shall be required to attend four (4) eight (8) hour training days each year. They will be required to complete an additional eight (8) hours of training throughout the year to be completed on the member’s own time. This training will either be assigned by the Training Sergeant or shall be agreed upon training between the individual officer and the Divisional Commander or their delegate (Training Sergeant). In lieu thereof, members working the uniform twelve (12) hour platoon schedule shall receive forty-six (46) hours of annual leave.
(k) Members of the service eligible for vacation with pay shall receive 96 hours of additional time off in lieu of the days as listed herein, which include statutory holidays as listed in the Employ...

VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 10.1 This article shall serve as the notice of entitlement of vacations and statutory holidays prescribed by The Employment Act.
10.2 Vacation pay for Educational assistants, librarians, and school secretaries will be paid on a monthly basis.

VACATION AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 14.01 The Company will pay to all hourly rated day workers, after they have served their probationary period, an amount equal to the number of standard hours in their normal day at the established hourly rate, and will pay to all pieceworkers a sum equal to the number of standard hours in their normal day at their hourly piecework average rate of pay during the preceding two (2) calendar quarter-years, overtime excluded, or during such fraction of the said period as the employee shall have been in the Company’s employ, for each of the following holidays, provided that the employee shall have worked his full shift on the declared working day before and after such holiday, unless absence on either such days was caused by proven illness or other excusable circumstances. New Year’s Day Victoria Day Civic Holiday Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Dominion Day Labour Day Christmas Day Boxing Day A tenth (10th) and eleventh (11th) holiday to be paid and observed. The date of the tenth (10th) and eleventh (11th) day to be decided by mutual agreement between the Company and each employee during the term of the Agreement. The holiday’s eligibility is effective after sixty (60) working days.
14.02 The Company shall grant all employees subject to this Agreement, a vacation as set out during the period July 1 through September 1 inclusive. Such vacation period will be scheduled as fair as possible to coincide with the wishes expressed by the employee taking into consideration the needs of production. Vacations priorities will be posted March 1. An employee having more continuous service will have preference over an employee with less continuous service as to the choice of the date of his vacation. Employees entitled to more than two (2) weeks vacation with pay will take their additional weeks at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and the Company. The additional weeks vacation must be taken during the contract year concerned.
14.03 The basis of payment for vacation will be as follows: payment will be calculated by taking the percentage of each eligible employee’s earnings for the previous twelve

The Employer agrees that when making payment of the above stated monies, as defined i n there w i l l be two (2) separate cheques, one covering statutory holidays and one for annual holiday pay. Each member covered by this Agreement shall receive the amount as set out above for annual vacation pay and statutory holiday pay as defined i n this Agreement. The annual vacation period shall be at a t i m e mutually agreed upon between the Employer and the employee between the tenth (10th) and twelfth (12th) month of continuous employment. All work performed on statutory holidays, or days observed in of statutory holidays, shall be paid for at two t i m e s the regular hourly rates i n addition to the statutory and annual holiday pay as out- lined above. On a l l occasions where an employee is required to work on a statutory holiday, or a observed in place of a statutory holiday, there shall be no day off i n lieu thereof. Should a day be declared a statutory holiday by the Federal and/or Provincial Government on a permanent basis, i n addition to those named above, then vacation pay and statutory holiday pay combined i n an amount equal to twelve percent (12%) shall be paid on the date such holiday is observed. The Employer agrees t o pay the cost of transportation, subject to the terms and of Article Transportation, on an employee's annual vacation t o point of hire, between the tenth (10th) and twelfth (12th) month of continuous employment. Such transportation shall, however, not include travel time. The option to reserve payment of holiday pay shall be either once every three
