Effective July 1, 2016. On each July 1st, OC shall deposit a sum equal to 40% of Step 1 of the salary scale into a jointly administered fund to be known as the Professional Allowance Fund. Any interest earned on the money in the fund shall accrue to the fund and any money remaining in the fund at the end of the fiscal year shall stay in the fund for subsequent use of the fund.
Effective July 1, 2016. Each member of the classified bargaining unit employed more than twenty (20) hours per week retiring into PERS after May 3, 1985, who is between 50 and 64 years of age, inclusive at the time of retirement shall be granted an annual entitlement with which to purchase employee-only medical coverage as such is available through the District. The maximum number of years a member shall be eligible for such entitlement is ten (10) years. The entitlement shall be graduated according to years of service in RUSD as listed below. Unit members working less than full-time, but working twenty (20) or more hours per week, shall receive a pro-rated entitlement in proportion to the average daily hours worked during the unit member’s final three (3) years of service on the same basis as provided in 9.2. The ratio of the average daily hours to eight shall determine the percentage of the appropriate entitlement to be granted to the retiree. Service Entitlement 15 years $2,146 16 years $2,331 17 years $2,516 18 years $2,701 19 years $2,886 20 years and more $3,071 Twenty-five Years or More of Service: Bargaining unit members who retire from the District with 25 years or more of service and have been employed by the District as a full-time bargaining unit member for fifteen (15) of the last nineteen (19) years at the time of retirement are entitled to an amount equivalent to the single party premium of the two least costly medical plans (excluding any high deductible plans) available through the District. However, if the retired employee selects a more costly plan that is made available through the District, the retiree will be responsible for paying the cost of the difference between the annual premiums of the two plans. The maximum number of years a member shall be eligible for such entitlement is ten (10) years.
Effective July 1, 2016. (a) A scale increase of 1% will be applied to the maxima and minima salaries and to each salary referenced at each step on the current salary grid.

Effective July 1, 2016 a unit member receiving tuition waiver benefits under the provisions of this Article shall have the unified fee waived for tuition waiver covered coursed.
Effective July 1, 2016. 2.5% of the base pay in effect at the completion of 5 years of full-time employment, 3.5% of the base pay in effect at the completion of 10 years of full-time employment, 5.5% of the base pay in effect at the completion of 15 years of full-time employment, 7.0% of the base pay in effect at the completion of 20 years full-time employment, 8.5% of the base pay in effect at the completion of 25 years of full-time employment. Effective July 1, 2016. A. All uniformed members of the Fire Department in compensation grades F-1 to F-3 shall receive a clothing allowance of $500, a portion of which may be spent on safety glasses if the member so desires. Except for new members in Grade F-1, the annual clothing allowance shall be paid to each member in a lump sum in the first pay period in July each year. The initial allowance for persons in Grade F-1 shall be paid at the conclusion of the six-month probationary period. Effective July 1, 2004, the foregoing clothing allowance of $500.00 shall be increased to $599. All members covered under this agreement receive a clothing allowance of $750.00. The annual clothing allowance shall be paid to each member in a lump sum in the first pay period in July each year.
Effective July 1, 2016. A. The Executive Officers of the Association shall be granted Association Business leave for Local business, negotiations or conferences with the Board of Selectmen, Town Manager or Chief of the Department without loss of pay or benefits and without the requirement of making up any such loss of time, provided that employees of equal rank fill their positions.
