Paid Leave Policy. Section 1 . A secretary will be allowed leave time as set forth in this Article to the extent of sixteen (16) school days per year for twelve (12) month secretaries and thirteen (13) days per year for less than twelve (12) month secretaries. A secretary shall receive credit at the end of the school year for the unused portion of the leave allowance. The accumulated maximum total days, herein referred to as an employee’s personal leave bank, shall not exceed two hundred five (205) days in any school year. Secretaries who have accumulated two hundred five (205) days prior to the beginning of the school year shall not have days deducted from this accumulation until they have used their annual allowance for that year.

  • Leave Policy Teachers who find they are unable to be present to discharge their assignment of duties should notify the principal as soon as possible or, in the case of sick leave, by 7:30 a.m. If it is necessary to call a substitute, the teacher is to call his principal who, in turn, will make arrangements for a substitute teacher.
