Wages Hours and Working Conditions. Where negotiable matters pertaining to wages, hours and working conditions are fixed by various City ordinances, the City Manager shall give notice to the Secretary of the Union with a copy to the Staff Representative of any proposed enactment or repeal of, or any amendments to, any such ordinance applicable to members of the bargaining unit. Such notice shall be given no less than ten (10) days prior to the first meeting of the City Council where such ordinance is considered, and shall be in writing and contain a copy of the ordinance proposed to be enacted or of the proposed amendment, or shall refer by code number to any ordinance proposed to be repealed. No ordinance affecting wages, hours or working conditions of members of the bargaining unit shall be enacted by the City Council unless mutually agreed upon between the City Manager (or designee) and the collective bargaining committee of the Union.

Wages Hours and Working Conditions. 28.1 All employees shall be subject to wage progression in accordance with the following wage progression schedule. The biweekly base wage rate salary and progression schedule set forth in Addendum A is based on a forty (40) hour workweek, notwithstanding other provisions of this Agreement to the contrary.
Wages Hours and Working Conditions. Section 1. Bus driver salaries are based on the amount of time required for each run at the applicable rate per hour. Time has been allowed for maintaining and gassing buses, waiting time, show-up time and nuisance factor. Routes that drop off and pick up students in Xxxxxxxxx shall be paid at 4.0 hour flat rate. In order for this route be considered a Xxxxxxxxx route, the majority of students must be picked up in that area. Each bus driver is responsible for the general appearance of their assigned bus and will be paid an additional 26 minutes before each morning and afternoon run to do bus safety check, minor maintenance, gas the bus, clean the bus, and warming up the bus. At any time it is found that any of the following: safety check, minor maintenance, fueling the bus, cleaning the bus and warming up the bus is not being done 26 minutes before each run will be deducted for one pay period and a letter put in their personnel file. Section 2. Extra trips will be paid at the rate of $10.59 per hour for any trip over 1.5 hours with a minimum of $15.89 for any one trip. Drivers must record to the nearest quarter hour the time they leave and return to the bus garage. Overnight trips will be paid on the basis of pre-trip and driving time to, during, and from event until the driver stops for the night, time will start the next morning with pre-trip with a minimum of eight hours for each day. Room and board will be furnished on overnight trips. Drivers who show up for a special trip that is canceled will be paid for one hour of regular pay. Xxxxxxx bus drivers have the right to re-claim their regular routes when special or extra trips are cancelled and a substitute bus driver has already been scheduled. In the instance of a cancelled event, the bus driver may use personal time instead of reclaiming their bus route. The school shall first contact regular drivers for all extra trips. The only exception to this will be in the event an emergency exists. A list shall be posted reminding the drivers of who is eligible for upcoming extra trips. Section 3. All new bus drivers will serve a six-month probationary period during which time their work performance shall be evaluated. Insurance shall begin within thirty (30) days of hire. Section 4. Physical examinations as required by law, or upon school request, will be paid by the school to the amount of $60.00. Section 5. Whenever an employee covered by this agreement works outside the jurisdiction of this Agreement or with employers covered by an agreement with another Local Union in the same craft, and the scale of wages varies, such employee shall receive the higher scale of wages.

Wages Hours and Working Conditions. 4.1 A workday for a full-time employee shall normally consist of eight (8) hours, exclusive of lunch period, and a workweek of such an employee shall normally consist of forty (40) hours. 4.2 Wages shall be paid in accordance with the negotiated pay schedule as reflected in Attachment A. The salary schedule shall not be construed to continue beyond the duration of this Agreement. Accordingly, an employee shall have no right to advancement in either a column or step after the expiration of the Agreement. 4.3 An employee shall be compensated for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours during any workweek at the rate of 1.5 times the employee's regular hourly rate. 4.4 Each employee is entitled to no less than a thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch break without pay. 4.5 Whenever the District requires an employee to drive his/her private vehicle as part of his/her duties, such employee shall receive a mileage allowance in the amount allowed for District travel in Board policy. 4.6 All employees shall be granted work breaks with pay on days when they work consecutively four (4) hours or more. Employees scheduled to work seven (7) hours per day or more shall be entitled to take one fifteen (15) minute work break during the first four (4) hours of his/her workday and one fifteen (15) minute work break during the remaining hours. An employee scheduled to work less than seven (7) hours, but more than four (4), shall be entitled to take one fifteen (15) minute work break during the first four (4) hours. An employee shall not take work breaks immediately before or after the lunch break, immediately after his/her schedule beginning time, or immediately before his/her scheduled quitting time. Work breaks shall be taken in accordance with the schedule prepared by the employee's supervisor. 4.7 A probationary employee shall be paid the negotiated starting rate. If the negotiated starting rate increases on July 1, the probationary employee will be paid the new higher starting rate beginning July 1. If the employee has completed their probation before July 1, they will be paid at the step above starting rate. For example: If the employee starts employment before January 1, the employee will move to the next step on July 1. If the employee starts after January 1, the employee will be paid at the new starting rate on July 1 and move to the next step on the second July 1. Wages Hours and Working Conditions. 7.1 The Credit Union will use its established Salary Schedules, Job Classifications, and Job Descriptions for all Unit employees. The Credit Union will provide a copy of the established salary schedules, job classifications, and job descriptions for all Unit employees to the Unit Chairman and the Local Union’s President. 7.2 All employees are paid on a weekly basis. Each employee will be paid on Thursday for the previous week’s work, or on an adjusted schedule as may be necessary from time to time. Payroll deduction is available to all employees for loan payments, deposits to share accounts, or contributions to IRA accounts. The net pay for all full-time and regular part-time employees will be deposited into their checking accounts in the Credit Union. This is mandatory for all employees and no exceptions will be made. Checks will be provided to employees at no cost to them. 7.3 The Credit Union will grant wage increases to all Unit employees within established job classifications, per the following schedule: 1. Effective on September 1, 2024: each employee’s rate of pay shall be increased by 10% per hour, or to bring each employee up to $16.75 an hour minimum whichever is greater. 2. Effective September 1, 2025: each employee’s rate of pay shall be increased by 8% per hour. 3. Effective September 1, 2026: each employee’s rate of pay shall be increased by 6% per hour. 7.4 The minimum starting pay for newly hired employees shall be $15.50. The Credit Union, at its discretion may assign a newly hired employee a starting pay rate higher than the minimum based on the employee’s experience and qualifications. 7.5 Each employee will be evaluated on their anniversary date with a copy given to the employee. Any disagreement with the evaluation by the employee shall be discussed with the employee and an official of the local if requested. Failure to mutually resolve disagreement is subject to grievance.
