HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 1. All employees covered by this Agreement shall receive full time employment (40 hours per week) provided they are ready and in condition to perform their work. Any employee shall not be required to take time off during basic work days in lieu of overtime worked or to be worked. Employees laid off because a job is completed or shut down for reasons beyond the Company's control shall be paid in full to the date of layoff.
Section 2. Eight (8) hours from Monday to Friday inclusive will constitute a regular day's work in all cases except where it is necessary for an employee to work regularly on Saturday, in which case his week shall be from Tuesday to Saturday evening inclusive so that his rest period shall be consecutive. Employees so employed may work Monday through Friday inclusive and Tuesday through Saturday inclusive each alternate week.
Section 3. The regular hours of employment for employees where continuous regular service is required seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day, shall be eight (8) consecutive hours per day, and five (5) consecutive days per week insofar as is practical, Sundays and Holidays inclusive, and the change of shifts shall take place at 7 a.m.., 3 p.m., and 11 p.m., or 8 a.m., 4 p.m., and 12 midnight. Employees so engaged shall be known as Shift Employees. The shift differential for evening and night shift workers shall be ninety (90) cents per hour. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work on a calendar Sunday shall be paid time and one-quarter (1¼) of the basic hourly rates for their scheduled eight (8) hours tour of duty on that day. Other employees working on Sunday shall not receive the Sunday premium rate but shall be paid the applicable overtime rate.
Section 4. (a) Regular holidays under this agreement shall be: New Year's Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Employee's Birthday.
1) On the actual day under the same provisions that govern the celebration of other holidays.
2) Taken as vacation. Scheduling of this option is subject to the needs of service, and is to be completed by December 31st each year for the next January 1 through December 31 period.
3) If an employee's birthday holiday falls on a holiday and is not rescheduled under option 2 above, the birthday may be taken in conjunction with that holiday or the employee will be paid eight hours pay. When...
HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. Section A. The hours for each employee shall be scheduled by the Employer.
Section B. The work week shall consist of forty (40) hours in five (5) days not necessarily consecutive, Monday through Saturday.
1) All work in excess of forty (40) hours per week or in excess of eight (8) hours per day or for the sixth day work ed in any work week shall be paid for at time and one-half (1% ).
2) Premium pay will not be pyramided and any hours paid for at premium pay will not be used in the computation of any other premium pay.
Section D. Effective the Sunday immedi ately following execution of this Agree ment the following shall apply:
1) A night premium of twenty-five cents (25c) per hour shall be paid for all work after 6 :00 P.M. and before 7 :00
A. M. except as otherwise provided in Schedule B, Item 2 for night stocking and except as otherwise provided below.
2) The night premium in Section D (1) immediately above shall not be appli cable in the event the employee receives time and one-half (1%) for such hours in accordance with Article 10, Section C above.
3) If a regular employee works more than two (2) nights in a week, he shall be paid time and one-half (1%) for work after 6:00 P.M. and before 7:00 A.M. on the third and subsequent nights worked in such week except as otherwise pro vided in Schedule B, Item 2 for night stocking.
4) Paragraphs D (1), D (2) and D (3) shall not apply to work on Sundays and holidays.
5) Any employee scheduled to start work prior to 8:00 A.M. will not be scheduled to work beyond 6:00 P.M. that day. LUNCH HOURS
Section E. One (1) hour on the employ ee’s own time shall be allowed for dinner on each full work day. This hour shall not be scheduled until an employee has worked three (3) hours, and the employee will not be required to work more than five (5) hours prior to the beginning of the lunch period. Such lunch period shall be sched uled as near to the mid-point of the work day as possible.
Section F. It is understood that it is necessary to serve customers in the store at store closing time and perform other store closing duties after the store is closed, and employees may be scheduled to perform such work.

HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. 6.1 Orientation (Training)
(1) The District will pay the cost for Board directed training for the employees. The District will pay the employees for time spent at Board directed training. The employee will be paid his/her regular hourly wage rate plus mileage and reasonable expenses for such things as room and board when directed by the District.
(2) The District will pay registration fees for classes and workshops that an employee completes outside of work hours that would increase the employee’s skills on the job. Prior approval by the Superintendent is necessary before the class or workshop begins. The employee will be reimbursed for the registration fee upon presenting evidence of successful completion of the class or workshop.
HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. CLERICAL/CLASSROOM EMPLOYEES Any teacher assistant vacancies which occur during the first semester of the school year shall first be offered, in seniority order, to the employees who worked in teacher aide positions at that worksite at the end of the previous school year, if those employees are currently in another teacher assistant position in the District. Clerical/classroom employees shall not be required but may volunteer to drive a District or school owned vehicle which does not require a Commercial Driver License to operate to transport students as a part of their work duties. HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEES Warehouse employees who enter freezer storage areas shall be provided proper shoes and clothing to protect against cold temperatures at no cost to the employee. Warehouse employees may, on certain occasions and circumstances, be provided opportunities to work in other warehouse positions in order to become familiar with the duties. When a truck assignment is vacant on a temporary basis, the most senior employee who has a Commercial Driver License shall be offered the opportunity to take the assignment.
HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. The employer has the right to establish flexible work schedules for the performance of electrical work to satisfy owner and/or customer requirements. A workweek shall consist of consecutive days such as 4–10-hour days Monday-Thursday/Tuesday-Friday (3) or 5–8-hour days Monday-Friday.

HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 1. The regular workweek for full-time employees shall consist o f forty (40) hours in any five (5) days, Monday through Saturday in counties where Sunday work is not per mitted, and Monday through Sunday in counties where Sun day work is permitted.
Section 2 (a) Regular work days in Cuyahoga County shall be as follows: Monday through Thursday — 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday — 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Section 2 (b) Store operating hours in the Ohio counties o f Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina shall remain as presently constituted. Provided, however, that if major competition (as defined in a Supplemental Agreement between the Employer and the Union) operates at times other than those prevailing at the time of execution of this Agreement, the Employer (separately or collectively) shall be free to adjust its store operating hours to meet such competition two (2) weeks after serving written notice to the Union of an intent to change hours.
Section 3. An employee shall be paid time and one-half (one and one-half times his regular rate of pay) as follows:
A. For all hours worked in excess of forty (40) in one regular workweek.
B. For all hours worked in excess of thirty-two (32) in one holiday workweek.
