WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. (1) The classification structure in this Agreement is set out below. Indicative tasks undertaken by various levels within the classification structure is described in detail in APPENDIX 1- CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE of this Agreement. Employees must be prepared to perform all tasks as required of their classification level or any lower level for which they have the required skills and competence provided that the intention of this provision is not to promote the xx-xxxxxxxx of classifications, but to recognise and make use of the full range of skills and competence held by the workforce. Employees covered by this Agreement shall be classified at a level as specified by this clause and APPENDIX 1 - based on their skills, qualifications, experience, competency and training provided that the Company has the need for such skill and competence. Each Employee's classification level will be specified in their letter of appointment. Employees may be required to carry out work either individually or as part of a work group. Employees are responsible for carrying out work in a safe manner and for the quality of their work. Employees at all levels shall carry out all duties which are:
(a) incidental or peripheral or ancillary to their main tasks or functions, and/or
(b) within their skill, competence and training, and/or
(c) routine functions. An Employee, engaged in writing, for more than two hours, during one day on duties carrying a higher rate than the Employee's Ordinary Classification, shall be paid the higher rate for the whole day. Otherwise, the employee shall be paid the higher rate for the time so worked. The sales consultant is guaranteed income of no less than the equivalent of the relevant APCS. This level of income is deemed to compensate the employee for annual leave and/or leave loading, bereavement leave, family leave, sick leave, wages for working public holidays, any allowances and/or any time worked beyond 40 hours per week averaged over a 4 week cycle. **The All purpose rate is inclusive of the equivalent of (i) two hours overtime, and
WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. 19.1 The applicable Multi-Purpose Shift Rate includes the team leader allowance which was previously payable under previous agreements. The rates of pay below incorporate all other previous allowances that may have previously been paid or may be payable unless specifically stated otherwise in this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, any Award terms and conditions covering these areas do not apply to this Agreement.
19.2 An all-purpose allowance has been incorporated into the Multi-Purpose Shift Rate and the Annual Day Rate, which is paid in lieu of flexible work practices, shift work and additional hours.
19.3 Wages will be paid weekly by direct transfer into a bank, building society or credit union account nominated by the Employee provided that, under the Employer’s payroll arrangements, there is access to the financial institution nominated.

WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. 18.1. An Employee’s salary and provisions in relation to the classification process and classification translation are set out in Schedule A to this agreement.
WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. 23.1 All employees will be paid wages on a fortnightly basis by electronic funds transfer.
23.2 You will be paid an Hourly Rate equal to or above the minimum rate which pertains to your classification from Annexure 1 – Employee Classification to this Agreement.
23.3 Employees covered by this Agreement will receive the following increases in minimum rates in this Agreement in the first full pay period on or after: First full pay period on or after the 1 April 2023 6% First full pay period on or after 1 April 2024 4% First full pay period on or after 1 April 2025 3% The above increases in the minimum rates in the Agreement are set out in Annexure 1 – Employee Classifications to this Agreement. NB: Leave Loading is not paid as it is incorporated into the Hourly Rate.
WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. 29.1. The minimum annual rates of salaries/wages for the classifications of employees covered by this Agreement will be as per Schedule 1 and will be increased as provided in Schedule 1.
29.2. The ordinary hourly rates of pay for each classification shall be calculated by dividing the annual salary rates in Schedule 1 by 1976 hours (52 weeks x 38 hours).
29.3. Annual Increments within classification levels shall be subject to the employee’s satisfactory performance over the proceeding twelve (12) months.
29.4. The rates of Salary/wages outlined in this Agreement are in lieu of and absorb any state or national wage safety net adjustment, or any decision of the Fair Pay Commission or its successor during the life of the agreement provided that the parties agree to adjust the minimum annual rates provided in this Agreement to those applicable in the relevant Australian Pay and Classification Scale (APCS) or Award should these rates at any time fall below the rates applying in the relevant APCS or Award.
WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. 3.1.1 LEVEL 1 Employees who are recruited into the Company at this level perform simple routine duties, work under direct supervision and receive detailed instruction. Level 1 employees exercise minimum judgement and are responsible for the quality of their own work within the scope of this level.
3.1.1.1 Typical Tasks Indicative of the tasks an employee at this level may perform are the following:- • Undertaking induction training. • Performing a range of general labouring and cleaning duties. Promotional Criteria - Employees remain at this level until such time as they have satisfactorily completed an induction program which enables them to meet the competency requirements of Level 2, a position becomes available and they are selected to fill that vacancy. An induction program covers:- • Basic occupational health and safety. • First aid. • Conditions of employment. • Company policies/objectives. • Plant layout and material location. • Workplace training to meet the requirements of being able to competently perform work within the scope of Level 2.
3.1.2 LEVEL 2 Employees at this level perform utility (general hand) functions and in so doing, perform work above and beyond the skills of an employee at Level 1 and to the level of their training: • Work under direct supervision either individually or in a team environment. • Understand and undertakes basic quality control/assurance procedures including the ability to recognise basic quality deviations and faults. • Understand and utilises basic statistical process control procedures Exercise minimal decision making. • Exercise discretion within their level of skills and training
3.1.2.1 Typical Tasks - Indicative of the tasks which an employee at this level may perform are the following:- • Undertaking training to enable entry into Level 3. • May be required to perform any of the duties of a lower level. • Machine killing of poultry. • Machine packing of poultry. • Machine cutting of poultry. • Machine eviscerating of poultry. • Maintain tally of records. • Hanging of live poultry on chain conveyor. • Identify machine faults (basic). • Manual packing of product. • General process line work. • Uses hand trolleys and pallet trucks. • Weighing of product. Promotional Criteria - Employees maybe promoted to Level 3 when they can competently carry out all tasks of a Level 2 employee, a position becomes available and they are selected to fill that vacancy.

(a) Employees will be required to undertake a varying range of duties and work as reasonably directed within the store. These may include duties of a manual nature and may include, but are not limited to: Customer Service Stock Replenishment Merchandising Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties Administrative Tasks Loss Prevention Procedures OH&S Procedures Audit Requirements Training Stocktake
(b) These duties may change over time with the addition of other responsibilities or the performance of other duties as Sanity Entertainment may reasonably require to meet the operating needs of the store and will be within the limits of the employee’s skills, competence and training.
(c) The employee will work as part of their store team to ensure that productivity standards are achieved. The employee will conscientiously and diligently carry out these duties in respect of the Sanity Entertainment business and will use his or her best endeavours to promote and enhance the Sanity Entertainment business. Employees will be held at this grade until their performance is measured to be at full operational level. This measurement shall be based upon performance and established skill competencies for each position. This competency assessment will take place within a maximum of 3 months from the date of commencement. If the employee fails to meet the competency assessment (by mutual written agreement) the competency assessment period may be extended by 1 month to provide the employee the opportunity to be reassessed in order to achieve a suitable competency assessment, else be separated from the employer. They shall remain at the lower grade throughout any extended competency assessment period.
