Posting and Bidding. 1. Operators and assistants shall be provided notice in their regular transportation newsletter (if one is published), via transportation dispatch radio and at fuel sites when available routes are posted and/or about to be posted. If school is not in session at posting time, notification shall take place by U.S. Mail. Such notice shall also include the date, starting time and location of the bid session. The posting shall also include pertinent basic information (available at the time) about the routes being posted (i.e., identifying number of the route, route manager, schools served, estimated route run time, the time and location of the first and last stop in the morning, and the storage location of the bus. For operators and assistants interested in reviewing the entire route, the posted routes shall be available at the Transportation office and posted at the bid session.
2. Posting and bidding for bus operators and bus assistants shall be conducted on an annual basis, followed by a temporary posting and bidding. The Bus Operator bid session shall be conducted during pre-school week of each regular school year. Bus Operators shall assume new route assignments on the first student day of the regular school year. The Bus Assistant bid session shall take place no sooner than two weeks and no later than four weeks following the first student day of the regular school year. Bus Assistants shall assume their new route assignments within five days of the bus assistant bid session. The dates of the bid sessions and schedule for assuming new routes shall be determined by the Bus Employee Committee. The BEC shall be authorized to change the timing of the bid sessions from that stated above if there is agreement by committee members that circumstances warrant such a change.
3. The bidding process shall be conducted as follows:
a. Any operator or assistant wishing to bid shall be present at the bid session or shall provide a written proxy to a Transportation manager or another operator or assistant of their choice.
b. The most senior operator or assistant present who is on the bid roster shall have the first selection of available vacant routes and the process shall continue in declining seniority order until all routes have been awarded.
c. The President of Escambia ESP may appoint two (2) members to witness the bidding process.
d. All bids will be final. Any exceptions to this shall be agreed upon by the Bus Employee Committee.

Posting and Bidding a. The employer shall post a notice of any permanent vacancy along with the job description for the position for a period of five (5) work days at all facilities. A copy of all permanent vacancy notices and corresponding job descriptions shall be sent to each Building Representative and the Chairman of the Bargaining Committee.
b. The Board retains the exclusive right to determine the existence of a vacancy and to determine whether and when to fill a vacancy. A vacancy will be awarded and filled within twenty (20) work days of the last day of the posting period unless the Board notifies the Union that an extension of such time is necessary.
c. A position is not considered “vacant” for posting and bidding purposes if the layoff list contains employees with recall rights to that position.
d. A notice of permanent vacancy shall include the job classification in which the vacancy exists, the qualifications for the position, whether testing will be required, the hourly rate, the number of hours, the location of the vacancy and the application procedure.
e. Notices of permanent vacancies posted during the summer will be posted on the Central Office bulletin board and on the District’s web page. Employees will also receive notice via email on their school account and via central call-in with vacancies deemed posted at noon on each Monday.
f. A copy of the employee’s request to be considered for bids during the summer shall be sent to the Union Chairperson. Employees bidding during the summer period will give a copy of their bid to the Building Representative. Employees shall apply in writing on forms available at each facility.
Posting and Bidding. All jobs will be posted with a description of the workday, work- week, daily start time, and a description of the type of work involved. All newly created or vacated jobs in A and B above shall be posted within ten (10) days for ten (10) working days and all postings for steps 2 through 4 in B above shall be immediately posted at the end of the previous posting for an additional ten (10) working days. The successful bidder shall be awarded the job the Monday follow- ing the expiration of the ten (10) day posting period, or following the acceptance of the job by a 22.3/40 combination employee.
Posting and Bidding. When the Board or Administration decides to fill an opening in the bargaining unit for a position, the Director of Human Resources will post the position for five (5) workdays. The notice shall set forth the position, location, shift, wage range, anticipated starting date, and job qualifications. The position must be awarded to the most senior applicant (Article XII – Seniority) within ten (10) workdays after the expiration date for application between August 15 and March 1. Within that ten (10) day period, the Human Resources Department will furnish to the Association President at his/her designated work location a complete list of all applicants for each posting. Except as set forth below, any employee who desires to be considered for a posted position must have held his or her current position for at least six (6) months. The foregoing bid restrictions do not apply to the following situations: (1) promotional opportunities (i.e., increase in total contract hours for year, increase in hourly rate, improved benefits level);

If the Home determines to fill a job vacancy within a classification, on a permanent basis, the Home shall post a notice of the vacancy for five work days, exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Temporary vacancies shall be posted for three working days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Posting shall state, to the extent practicable, the expected shifts, schedule, and floor and weekend schedule. All bargaining unit workers may bid on a posted vacancy to the person designated to receive the bid noted on the posting. A worker who is absent due to illness or injury may not bid on a posted vacancy, unless the worker can provide medical documentation that he/she can return to work when the job is required to be filled. Vacancies which have been posted will remain posted until filled.
Posting and Bidding. If the City determines to fill a job within the bargaining unit, or Human Resources opens recruitment for a position, the City will send an email to employees identifying such position(s), and identify the position(s) as internal only, external only, or both internal/external. Posting will occur prior to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and shall remain open for two (2) weeks, expiring at 6:00 p.m. fourteen days later. Subject to the provisions of Section 2, any employee may submit a request for transfer or bid for the job by completing an application within the City's on-line Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The City shall not be required to post a notice of vacancy for a designated job classification more than once every one hundred twenty (120) days from date of posting unless the previous posting list of internal candidates has been exhausted. In this case, the City will complete an internal posting prior to considering external candidates. Any bid submitted within a posting period shall remain valid for one hundred twenty (120) days from date the bid was submitted.
Posting and Bidding. 6.01 When a vacancy occurs in any classification, notification of the vacancy shall be posted on the Findlay City Schools website for a minimum of five (5) workdays. The Superintendent shall determine when a vacancy exists and whether it shall be filled.
6.02 All applications for any posted position will be submitted via the Findlay City Schools website. Failure to submit an application in a timely manner may void any application.
6.03 In filling a vacant position, the Superintendent shall offer the position to the bidder (internal or external) he/she believes is the most qualified for the position. Internal candidates will be given consideration.

Posting and Bidding. (1) When filling a vacancy and there are no said employees who have transfer requests on file prior to any posting, and there are no eligible employees on said recall or reinstatement lists, the District shall post the job for bidding.
(2) Employees may bid on jobs the District determines to be permanently vacant for promotion. The notice of a District-determined permanent vacancy shall be posted on the Park District website and other appropriate locations as determined by the District for a minimum of 14 days. The posting shall contain at least the following: job title, qualifications, work location, if known, and rate of pay and shall include all additional duties and qualifications reasonably required to fulfill the needs of the District for hiring into the particular position. If a posting is rescinded or re- posted after rescission, the Union shall be notified in writing. Job postings for hourly vacancies shall include the projected weekly hours for the position subject to the conditions in Article VII and Section 17.1 (a).
(3) All applicants for District-determined permanent vacant jobs must meet the minimum qualifications for the job in order to be considered for selection by the District. Employees must submit applications for vacancies by utilizing the District's online application process. Employees who have questions about or need assistance using the District's online application procedure, should contact a Human Resources representative. All qualified employees who submit applications for vacancies shall receive an e-mail response acknowledging submission of the application.
(4) In making selections, the District shall give a priority to employee applicants over non-employee applicants, unless the non-employee applicants have demonstrably greater skill and ability to fulfill the needs relevant to the job as reasonably determined by the District. Among employee applicants, monthly and hourly employees shall have a priority over seasonal employees who have worked a minimum of two seasons in two consecutive years in every instance; and seasonal employees who have worked a minimum of two seasons in two consecutive years shall be given a priority over all other seasonal employee applicants and non- employee applicants.
