WORK AND OVERTIME. I The standard for an employee covered by this Agreement is seven (7) consecutive days starting on Monday. I The standard'shift of an employee,scheduled to work eight (8) Hours shall eight (8) consecutive hours including lunch and rest breaks. Hours by an employee' in excess of eight (8) hours per Day or forty (40) hours per week shall be paid at the rate of times the standard,hourly rate unless scheduled hours exceeds the standard. A regular not work more than seven (7) consecutive Days, whether included in the same week or not, failing which, as of the eighth (8) day will be paid at the rate times the standard hourly rate. Employees will be allowed to exchange shifts subject to management approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld. For purposes of computing overtime, annual vacations and paid holidays, which fall on an employee's normally scheduled workday, shall be deemed to be working days. The Employer shall undertake not to unduly change the work schedules. Employees will be allowed a meal period of thirty (30) minutes with pay for each shift worked to be taken as close as possible to the mid point of the shift; and will be allowed a fifteen (15) minute paid break as close as possible to the mid point of each four (4) hour interval, however, the employee must remain on site and respond to any emergency that may occur, a full compliment of passenger are required during flight screening. An employee who reports for work and has not been advised not to do so prior to the start of scheduled shift and no work is available, be paid a reporting allowance to four (4) hours at the employees standard hourly rate. WORK AND OVERTIME. 2.6.1 A workweek of a full-time employee will consist of five (5) consecutive days of no more than eight (8) hours on any one day, to be completed in an eight-and-one-half (8-1/2) hour period on a Monday through Friday basis (or a different five (5) consecutive day period if bargained for a new position). Work hours for bus drivers will be calculated and paid to the one-tenth (1/10) of an hour. The workweek for substitutes will begin on Monday and end on Sunday. Upon mutual agreement between the district and employee, exceptions to the normal workweek can be implemented to allow a longer workday and corresponding time off where the workload allows. Such exceptions will require the written approval of both parties and cannot result in additional cost to the district, including changes to shift premiums.
WORK AND OVERTIME. The following sections and paragraphs are intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day or per week, or of days of work per week.

Time and one half the straight time hourly rate shall be paid for all authorized hours worked on calendar Saturday, except for employees whose work regularly falls on Saturday. Double the straight time hourly rate shall be paid for all au- thorized hours worked on calendar Sunday, except for em- ployees whose work regularly falls on Sunday. Employees who regularly work on Sunday shall receive another day off in lieu of Sunday. If they work on such off day, they shall receive double time for hours worked on that day. Where an employee works scheduled day on Sunday and has two week days off, the second day shall be considered to be the day in place of Sunday. Employees working on shifts regularly scheduled to com- mence prior to on Sunday shall receive a pre- mium of per hour for all hours worked at regular rates on calendar Sunday. Such premium shall not be considered as part of such employee’s basic rates. Any employee who is called in to work shall receive a min- imum amount equal to four (4) hours work at the prevailing rate. WORK AND OVERTIME. Section 32.1. Forty (40) hours will be the normal work week for all bargaining unit members. Bargaining unit members will normally be scheduled for a minimum of two (2) consecutive days off per week. Work performed between the hours of a.m. and on Saturday shall be paid for at time and one half rate. All work performed on Sundays shall be paid for at the double time rate. When an employee is working a between and a.m. and the job extends beyond a.m., he shall continue to be paid double time until such job is completed.
