Construction Support Services. A-E is retained on a Time and Materials (T&M) basis to provide construction support services, including:
Construction Support Services. Construction support services may include response to questions during the bid period, attendance at the pre-bid meeting, review and response to contractor deliverables (including but not limited to construction submittals, RFIs and change orders) and site visits during construction to resolve issues, recommendation for construction issues and response to plan check corrections. Construction support services shall be identified in the CTO.
Construction Support Services. 2.6.1 The Construction Phase will commence with the award of the construction contract, and will terminate when the Project is complete and operable and the Final Record Drawings [As-builts] have been accepted by the City.
2.6.2 During the construction phase, Design Professional shall provide technical advice for the Project, and any other related work, to the Project Manager employed by the City of San Diego as required by the scope of work of the Task.
2.6.3 Design Professional shall incorporate all construction changes provided by the City into the Final Record Drawings, including the location of underground and concealed utilities, and significant shop drawing information, and shall submit them to the Project Manager as Record Drawings for final acceptance.
2.6.4 Design Professional shall aid the City, on an as-needed basis, in the general administration of any construction contract let by City for development of the Project including but not limited to reviewing and preparing response to the Request For Information (RFI), Request For Clarification, review of the shop drawings and periodic on-site observations as may be necessary to determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the design.
2.6.5 Design Professional shall aid in the assembling of all written guarantees and warranties, instruction books, diagrams and charts required by Contract Documents.
2.6.6 Design Professional shall conduct inspections to determine the date of substantial completion and final completion, and shall furnish City with a statement that Project has been constructed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

Construction Support Services. This task includes but is not limited to the consultant’s review of shop drawings, answering Request for Information (RFI’s), assist with change orders as necessary, site visits during the construction to verify the installation methods of the contractor and to resolve any issues during construction, and the development of “as-built” or “record drawings” from the contractor’s xxxx-ups.
Construction Support Services. Construction support services were not included in the original design contract, and COUNTY has requested they be added. These services will include attending periodic construction meetings, reviewing contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFI's), and clarifying the contract documents. The design team will perform the following the scope of work: • Attend preconstruction meeting; • Attend periodic field visits, as required, to assist in the resolution of construction issues; • Review shop drawings and construction submittals; • Answer clarification questions pertaining to the plans and special provisions, if needed; • Review contractor RFI’s and provide written responses; • Review construction inspection reports prepared by the Resident Engineer; • Provide full-time field observation by the Geotechnical Engineer of Record during construction of the Cast in Drilled Hole (CIDH) piles; • Provide geotechnical and structural engineering support and interaction for post-construction testing and evaluation of CIDH piles; • Provide field observation of riparian area mitigation fencing, grading and soil conditions, hydroseeding, planting layout, irrigation system layout and testing; • Prepare Final Site Grading and Water Quality Certification Letter; • Prepare Biological As-Built Report: o The USACE, RWQCB, and CDFW permits require submittal of the as-built report prepared by the monitoring biologist within 8 weeks of the completion of mitigation site installation. The report will document the post-construction condition of the site, and will include plan view drawings of the aquatic and riparian areas to show biologically significant deviations from the concepts outlined in the Xxxx Xxxxxx Road Bridge Replacement Project Aquatic and Riparian Habitat Mitigation and Monitoring Plan (prepared August 2019 by X. X. Xxxxxx & Associates) and other relevant information such as planting zones, plant palettes and quantities installed, and typical plant spacing. This report will outline observations made during construction relevant to the ecological aspects of the mitigation project, as well as establish permanent photo-documentation points for use as a baseline for the long- term monitoring of the site.
